So predictable eh @TraceyEB @Titian06 ?! 😂 I was pretty excited to see this collection as you have correctly surmised! 🤣❤️ (Having a little bit of a time getting on BIC too, ugh!)I love a good clean eye against a moody lip too. Seems more winter-like a bit maybe? ! Always keeping us guessing those crazy kids. Titian you may be surprised if you tried the Noir lip and blotted it or mixed it with another lighter pinky red. It’s very nice! I mixed both the Noir Laque with the 367 lip and other older shades with Noir lip 387, blotted them down and they turn out lighter and really good, wearable. First coat is lighter and builds up with more. Just an idea if you got tempted. 🙃 So many new things to come though, I get that! Some quick swatches. Cute doesn’t show up well on my arm so I didn’t do it. Same formula as other highlighter sticks with some small sparkley pink to it and I always like them. Aptly named. 😊I did not get the shadows as I’m pretty sure I can come close with other Chanel I have and I think @blackkitty2014 smartly mentioned Chantecaille being dupes for 267. I also really like wearing these lip colors with a bit cooler eye like those in the Brun et Rose Tweed eye quad. Works well.The Confidence quad is wonderful! The best flush that melts into the skin; they killed it imo. I also used the Profond cheek underneath and loved that. Thoughtful pinks and more neutral mid-shade plus a highlighter that all works so well for eyes and cheeks. Sometimes pinks are tricky on my eyes so I probably won’t but definitely will for the highlighter shade. This is the color palette I hoped for last year tho I love that one as well for summer. The lips are lovely. 367 is the best shade of pink with red, and with intensity but not too much . I’m crazy about it. I’m sure those of you that got 357 will really like it. The Noirs both are quite purple and I love them but I do wish they had a little more red to them. I feel like older Noir was more red-based. I should have compared old to new but I know others have done so on IG. As mentioned, mixing Noir with 367 or other reds does the trick for me as my lips are rather pale. For those of you lucky ones with more pigmented lips I’m sure they won’t appear as purple. ☺️ Lips are the same smooth formula with Noir being a little bit patchier yet it’s still smooth and evens out nicely. Beauty Goals:Enjoy my beauty collection - both what's currently in it and what I will add to it this year. I want to use the products I have, sooner rather than later (and definitely before they've been around for too long 😬). Low / No buy until spring. From now until mid-March, with very few exceptions that I've listed on a small post-it note, I'm not planning on purchasing much of anything other than basic necessities and gifts for others. In full disclosure, (a) they are broad stroke exceptions but I don't foresee any of them coming into play, and (b) I have a few purchases in transit so they and my projects should keep me preoccupied. No buying backups until actually needed. Contouring - it's one of those things that seem to forever be on my "to do" list. I spent more time on nose contouring last year with mixed results. Have been working more on that this year, along with just contouring in general. Starting off with cream products already in my collection. Follow up on this will be made at a later date to, among other threads, the face-mapping post on the🏫🎓BIC University 🎓🏫 thread. 2. Use up the following already open, partially used beauty products - skin tints / foundations - Tower 28 SunnyDays Tinted Sunscreen Foundation (2 tubes) + Tom Ford Foundation (2 shades) + Urban Decay Bond Foundation + Sephora Collection Reveal the Real Foundation - I'l use the capsule makeup challenge and the seasonal Shop Your Stash challenges to work on rotating through these items throughout the year. The Tower 28 and Tom Ford ones have less than 1/4 of the container left. Shout out to @blackkitty2014 for inspiring me with her use (and completion) of her Tom Ford items, including TF foundations. LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask – Intense Hydration Lip Treatment with Vitamin C Vanilla - part of the Pan It! - 2026 Challenge - if I keep consistent with my usage, I should be able to get through this by the end of the year. 3. Work on / get better with my photography 📷 4. Significantly pare down a few makeup products in my collection; primarily, my lip collection (all lip categories - liners, lipsticks, lip glosses, oils, even lip balms, but we'll work on the balms last 😂); face primers; setting sprays; and blush. Will declutter items as I use them in my weekly capsules (or as I go through rounds of decluttering throughout the year) and I plan to use threads such as the Beauty Challenge -- Twelve Months of Beauty Inventory and Beauty Product Battles, Throw Downs and Showdowns to help move this particular project along when I get stuck or distracted. I'll pass along what I can to a local womens' shelter or not-for-profit, or re-home to friends, family or coworkers who will get better use and enjoyment out of them. Anything that isn't in a conditon to be passed along will be tossed if I'm unable to repurpose it in a meaningful way. 5. Look into retinol products - it may be time to give this another try. We shall see. It'll be a slow onboarding if I decide to go for it at all. I've been doing some research on my own and talking with licensed professionals who know far more about retinol and similar and derivative ingredients than I. But I know my skin and my risk and my skin's tolerance so that's where my expertise comes in. 😉 6. Find for replacements for products that are no longer available: Pencil / gel liner for waterline (to replace the discontinued Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Brightening Pencil - Light 1)Liquid eye liner - I have two liquid liners that I'm be happy with but will continue to see if I can find something that performs better / closer to the discontinued Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner - Super Black)Under eye gel patches (to replace Sephora Collection Caffeine Eye Mask) - I've been blessed to have received many of these as gifts from friends ❤️ before they completely sold out so I can take my time to find the right replacement but this is one that's been on the "to do" list for a while.
