Monthly Favorites: July 2024 Edition!

What’s happening, BIC? 🌞 I hope you are all staying cool during this hot summer (unless you’re like some of us in the Bay Area, still bundled up in jackets 😉)! Summer seems to always make me want to refresh my beauty routine and experiment with new products. The warmer weather (and, depending on where I am, humidity!) pushes me towards lighter formulas, vibrant colors, and all the SPF! Every year I return to this mission of uncovering summer must-haves that keep me looking and feeling fresh while withstanding the summer sun.

Love your cottage edit @CynthieLu ! It really shows what items you rely on when you are not at home and have everything at your finger tips. It is also a fun why to find new faves like the Oribe. Briogeo Superfoods Banana + Coconut Nourishing Shampoo + Conditioner Duo for Dry Hair - I got these on sale and the scent reminds me of banana popsicles🍌

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Sleepair Intensive Night Mask 2.53 oz / 75 ml - This is such a treat. I will definitely buy this again. It leaves my face feeling so soft. Dare I say more clear also. But it is hard to pin point exactly what it is because there are so many factors. This is my fave sleeping mask to date.

First Aid Beauty Deep Cleanser with Red Clay 4.7 oz/ 134 g - I got this in a sub box and just finished it. The scent is fresh. It leaves my face feeling clean without leaving my face feel dry. I am sad it is all gone.

Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum Hydrating Treatment for Dry Hair 3.04 oz / 90 ml - It is a great mask to put on when hair needs a little refresh. It leaves my hair smelling amazing and feeling nourished. My SO even commented on how good my hair smells.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Poutsicle Hydrating Lip Stain Fuchsia Wife - It has been a go to on beach days when I am looking for a low maintenance look that doesn't wear off

Velour Lashes Long & Strong Lash Serum 0.14 oz, 4ml - I have been using consistently and I notice a difference in the length of my lashes. I picked up another one on sale but I don't know if I can keep up with the routine tbh.

Love that Dr Jart sleeping mask @Mellmars1185; sooooo good. 💚 Oh my goodness, between the Briogeo shampoo & conditioner and the Kerastase 8H serum, your hair must smell amazing!! 😍

@itsfi Thank you! My hair is definitely smelling better. After using my hair wand on dry hair, I find it leaves a burnt smell. I am happy for the Kerastase and the scent it leaves 🥰

@ather Thank you! The #Briogeo Style + Treat™ Hair Styling Sleek Stick 0.5 oz / 15 g  worked well for a sleek back hairstyle for me when initially styling. I noticed that I would need to keep it with me and reapply throughout the day because some fly aways popped through. I have only tried it once so far.

Do you apply the Kerastase serum while your hair is wet? I'm always looking for extra hair hydration!

@GeorginaBT Thank you! What a great memory. Scents also take me back to certain times in my life. I apply the Kerastase to my hair when it is dry. I apply it to air dried hair sometimes before I use my curling wand. Or I apply it just to add some hydration and scent when my hair is on day two or three.

@Mellmars1185 i immediately added that sleeping mask to my loves list as soon as i read your description. I am a huge fan of the line, but I haven’t tried the sleeping mask yet! For some reason i didnt even know there was one??

@cianni I hope you enjoy it, if you end up getting it! I literally slept on using this. I think I picked it up during the last sale and didn't open it until this month. So far I have enjoyed everything from the Cicapair line too 😊💚

Neutrogena Hydro Boost+ Glycolic Acid Overnight Peel.  It's 10% glycolic acid, and has done a great job exfoliating my skin.  My skin is smoother and brighter.  I really needed a good boost after not using AHAs for months.
