@itsfi I saw this and thought of you immediately. I am definitely into trying this one when it comes out. Hopefully it’s available in Canada 🇨🇦
plus I’m pretty sure we talked about greasy donut skin 🍩
Not one, but two, new masks coming from Rhode
- firming and lifting mask
- lip plumping mask
Early access will be available during Rhode’s “pop up” in Montana 2.4 - 2.8
Products in photo are lab samples. Packaging of products to be released may differ.

cross post to Product Releases: 2026
I’m happy to see the next releases are more skincare focused and different @ather. Interested in the ingredients in both, more so that lip mask, such as what gives it the plumping effect? Will my lips sting or tingle a lot or just a teensy bit? Or not at all, with the plumping being more the appearance of plumper lips?
The Lawless line is the poster child for lip plumping glosses for me @ather. Seriously. I love that it gives my lips that volume (and noticeably so) but that I don't feel like my lips are burning. I know some people like that feeling but I am not one of them. Nope, not me, lol. I did hear from a Sephora employee that a couple of her newer flavors / shades (in one of her limited edition releases) had a different formulation and did sting, a teensy bit, but it was noticeable. And yes, I put that set back down on the display. 🤣
Oh my goodness, your post about your experience with the DDG one is forever etched in my memory!!! I wince whenever I walk by it in the store. I like many of their products but that one I don't even consider knowing your experience with it.
@itsfi The Lawless ones sting!!!! Oh nooooo. I wonder if it’s a new formula for all of her line??? Hmmm note to self stay away from them. Hmmm. That’s a bummer. I really enjoy the sleeping mask.
Ahhhyrs the DDG. I think it’s more of a my skin is so sensitive. Maybe not a normal reaction for that product!
Oh no, I may have misspoke, sorry about that @ather. There was a special edition / limited edition collection that Lawless put out, a strawberry focused one, maybe? One of the Sephora employees at a local store mentioned to me that there had been folks that said they experienced tingling with those particular flavors / shades that they didn't with the other flavors / scents. Some were wondering whether it was specific to that collection or whether it meant that was a new formulation that would be in all future flavors. As far as I know, all of the ones that preexisted before the release of that collection did not have any tingling or stingng effect. That said, I don't know if I've used one after that collection was released. I'm pretty sure I picked up one after it. I'll check later this week and if I do have one, I'll give it a try and get back to you.
Who What Wear published an online article earlier this month identifying what it believes to be four (4) product launches for Rhode in 2026, based on teasers posted to the brands Instagram account:
Pimple Patches
New shade and finish to Peptide Lip Treatment - shimmery, cool-pink shade and a glittery, rose-colored tint.
Bronzer/Contour
Mystery product - Who What Wear posits that it's likely an eye cream. Grazia Daily online believes it to be skincare product, speculating it could possibly be an overnight mask or a more intense version of the Barrier Restore Cream.

@itsfi Oooooo how did I miss these!!! Pimple patches and a new lip peptide colour!!!!
Contour would be interesting !!! I wonder off that’s a Rhode brush??? It looks nice!!!
hmmm looks like a large container to be eye cream but maybe. 🤔 an overnight mask would be nice but the Barrier Butter sorta serves that purpose.
Can’t wait to see what the brand brings go 2026!!
@ather, she's got a few items in the pipeline, and I'm sure there'll be other drops made during the year. I heard talks about the brush but nothing as definitive as these 4 items. From the looks of it, one side for bronzer and the other side for the pocket blush, maybe? Generally speaking, I prefer the single ended brushes but if she did release a double ended one, it wouldn't be a flat out pass for me.
I had the same thoughts as you regarding that last item pictured. A more intense version of the Barrier Cream seems like it would on par with the Barrier Butter, unless they were trying to give people something with a cream vs balm consistency (?) In any event, I could see it being an overnight mask but the eye cream sounds like it might more likely, even though she just released the eye patches. My brain was thinking maybe she'll do something like those reusable Dieux patches that can be used with the eye cream for your every day / night care and her patches for when your on the go. Or, maybe they have different purposes. The patches are geared for hydration. Perhaps this new cream has other functionalities it targets - plumping/firming, dark circles, anti-aging / well-aging / age-delay - whatever the term du jour is for striking the right balance for retaining the vitality of youth while celebrating the virtues that come with aging.
@itsfi omg we are twins. I also am not a fan of a dual sided brush. Maybe for storage reasons. However I also may be persuaded into getting it depending. I suppose it would be nice to throw in your bag if you’re going on a trip and only have a few brushes. Hmmm I did pass on the summer Fridays one. But now I think about it. I have the Merit eyeshadow brush that’s dual sided and I like it.
I feel like the brand is so saturated with face moisturizer so I wouldn’t be sad if it was an eye cream. But I feel like I have had some skin issues around my eyes and I have not used as many eye products lately.
Out of all the speculation which product(s) are you most interested in? And which ones are a pass for you?
I like the idea of the reusable eye patches. I should really pick up some of the Dieux ones. Do you have them? Do you like them?
Reusable eye gels are wonderful, especially if you have an eye cream or gel that you really like @ather. I have a couple pair of the Dieux, one I purchased when they first came out and one that was part of a gwp bag (that I found last year when going through some boxes). I also like having under eye gel patches that are disposable as well, for travel they come in handy. The main issue for me with reusable eye gels is remembering to use them 😛 that's on me, I just need to get into a better routine where I reach for it after applying my eye cream, lol. I sometimes often just want to get through my routine. I know, I know, for someone who loves skincare as much as I do, I really should take or make more time to enjoy my skincare routine. 😁
@ather, I had been pairing them with the Haruharu black rice and bakuchial eye cream and the Typology eye serum. I should give the a try with the LANEIGE Bouncy & Firm Eye Brightening Sleeping Mask with Peony + Collagen Complex™ .7 oz / 20 g
I've been meaning to but lately I've been wearing a physical eye mask to bed, but I am going to try wearing the Dieux under eye patches to bed next month. That's a great idea for a little experiment @ather!

I'll try to use them a few nights this week and let you know how they hold up @ather. It may tell me more about how I sleep throughout the night than how well they actually adhere to the skin 😂🤣😂. I wonder if I'll remove them myself at some point and not realize it until the morning? 🤔 Okay, stay tuned ...
Oh, good questions @ather; hmmm, let me think about that ... 🤔 So, if that mystery item is one of the two new things (face and lip mask) that will be available for early access at her Montana pop up / appearance next month (next week?), then those two would be the launches I'd be most interested in, provided that there's nothing in the ingredients list that I'm sensitive to. 🤞 If that mystery item, however, is a more intense version of the barrier restore cream, it would be a pass for me. I'm a huge fan of the rhode Barrier Butter Intensive Moisture Balm 3.4oz/100ml for fall and winter and maybe even for nighttime in the spring (we'll see about that latter bit in the next few months). The bronzer stick and even the brush would be something I'd be curious about as well but with the bronzer stick, I'd want to see and swatch the shade range first. I have a couple of bronzer / contour sticks on my list of "maybe" purchases and I want to be extra mindful of what I pick up this year.
What about you? Any of the speculated new releases that catch your eye? Or are there any that are a total pass for you?
