Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐Ÿ’—

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Mellmars1185 oh well, it was worth trying.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@CookieGirl1 I was disappointed in this one as well, however,,I have had this mask in a one piece lol and it was much better!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

It's a shame this one didn't work out, @CookieGirl1. Did the pieces slide around much on your face? That's always a concern for me with hydrogels.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@quspork They actually didn't slide too much; it's just that there was enough material (?) there for two faces, lol.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

For this weekโ€™s mask theme of food I offer Pumpkin ๐ŸŽƒ.  And it actually fits in with the letters too.  Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask.  Itโ€™s supposed to resurface skin with a combo of enzymes.  It exfoliates with Pumpkin enzyme, peels with alpha hydroxy acid and polishโ€™s with aluminum hydroxy acid.

It says that it is good for dull, aging and congested complexions.  This pack has more than enough product to use at least 2 times.

To use you apply a thin layer with wet finger tips.  You polish in a circular motion to get the aluminum hydroxide powder in the skin.  You should leave it on for 3-7 minutes to allow the AHAโ€™s and enzyme time of work.

This is a pumpkin color grainy product.  It has a spicy scent that I really liked.  When applying it I felt a slight tingling feeling .   I left it on for about 4 minutes.  My skin is sensitive and I have rosacea.  So I was concerned about leaving it on longer.  Using a warm wet wash cloth I removed it.  I kept feeling like I had grains on my face .  So it took awhile for me to be as gentle as possible removing it.

My skin was looking like it reacts to it.  The rosacea was inflamed and other areaโ€™s looked

irritated.  It didnโ€™t feel smooth. I applied a brief version of my nighttime skin care regimen.

But the next morning my pores appeared clear and my skin was so soft.  The rosacea was calm and the other irritated areas are back to normal.  There was a total turnaround from the night before.

I will try it again as there is more product in the pack.  But I will leave it on for 3 minutes next time.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Cissy63

I love Peter Thomas Roth masks.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Cissy63

This one smells good.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

As always, @Cissy63, your descriptions are insightful and you touch on so many aspects of the mask!

A thought on the redness; I attended a virtual Masterclass last year for a brand I enjoy. They have an enzyme peel mask and the founder shared that the enzymes work to draw the blood to the surface, which is why you might feel some tingling as well as notice redness. It should not hurt, however. Your reaction and how your skin looked/felt in the morning made me think that *maybe* it was the pumpkin doing itโ€™s job. Just a thought, of course. I am happy to hear that things worked out for the best!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe  Thank you for your information. I appreciate it.  Yes the next am my skin had a total turnaround!  I plan on using it again but leaving it on less time ๐Ÿ˜€

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Thatโ€™s a smart idea, @Cissy63. Enzymes make a little nervous, so I usually leave them on a shorter-than-recommended time as well๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Cissy63 The scent sounds appealing!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Mellmars1185  Thank you.  Yes it was!!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Cissy63 hopefully next time it will be calmer for your skin!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@lmaster  Yes I hope so!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

This is one of my favorites, @Cissy63! I'm glad the flare up didn't last too long after removal. It's definitely a powerful mask so I can see where it would be best to build up use slowly.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@quspork  Yes thatโ€™s what I am going to do next time.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Cissy63, this is one of my favorite mask. The results are really lovely.

AHAs can be potent; I think it's a good idea to not leave it on for too long - you could always try leaving it on for just 2 minutes even. It's less than the recommended time, but it may be more gentle on your skin. You would have gotten the benefits of manual exfoliation and some of the chemical exfoliation too, just from when you massage on the product in a circular motion.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi  Your right.  I have had both types of exfoliating.  Yes I think less time is better

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Love that mask @Cissy63 ! And it does smell so yummy

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Kim888  I so enjoyed the scent.  ๐Ÿ˜€

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

This was my Easter Sunday mask - for the last day of the "open" theme week, I decided to get a jump start on this week's masks that make you hungry, with carrots being the food reference, or in this case, a bunch of Reese's Pieces in a bag shaped to look like a carrot. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Hungry - carrots.jpg

tl;dr: JMsolution Green Dear Rabbit Carrot Mask is a transparent, thin, pale-apricot-hued, hybrid Tencel-cupra sheet mask that adheres beautifully to the skin, melding to the contours of the face to yield a comfortable though not quite second skin feel. This novel material is saturated with a clear, faintly scented, watery but not runny or drippy essence that, once fully absorbed leaves skin feeling lightly hydrated with zero tack or stickiness, and looking refreshed and brightened. An overall winner and definite repurchase.

Spoiler
The transparent, thin sheet of the JMsolution Green Dear Rabbit Carrot Mask initially made me think that if a Tencel sheet and cupra sheet were to be combined, it would result in something like the sheet for this mask. Well, it turns out, the material IS a hybrid Tencel-cupra sheet - new sheet mask material alert!!! This is the first time I've tried this type of material and I have to say, I like it. ๐Ÿ‘ It adheres to the skin and melds to the contours of the face beautifully, not quite second skin, but wears comfortably for the entire half hour I had on the mask.

The fit on this mask, though large in some areas, is one of the better fitting ones - the extra material over the nose bridge can be adjusted by slight incisions to the lower corner of the inner eye. The pale apricot hue of the sheet is due to the carrot extract and carrot oil ๐Ÿฅ• in the clear, faintly scented, watery but not runny or drippy essence that is absorbed quickly and smoothly by the skin after removing the mask, and leaves my skin feeling lightly hydrated with zero tack or stickiness. Whatโ€™s more, my complexion looked refreshed and brightened. Another JMsolution sheet mask I will happily repurchase (after I use the backup I picked up).
