Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@eshoe Those sound like really great winners!
@eshoe That Leahani mask sounds so nice. I dig the sticky wash offs lol
@eshoe Everything looks lovely, but I am especially intrigued by the Leahlani Meli Glow Illuminating Nectar Mask. ๐
@eshoe I honestly didn't love the scent on the sheet mask, (I picked up more floral than anything) but I really loved the results. I'm so happy it worked out great for you too! ๐
@eshoe, here are the ingredients for the sheet mask, from Missha's US site (misshaus dot com):
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, 1,2-Hexanediol, Water, Butylene Glycol, Propolis Extract, Honey Extract, Water, Butylene Glycol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Aniba Rosodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Water, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Phytosteryl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Ceramide NP, Sodium Hyaluronate, Adenosine, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Trehalose, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Carbomer, Cetearyl Alcohol, Tromethamine, Polyacrylate-13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Water, Sorbitan Isostearate, Allantoin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glyceryl Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Water, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA
One for Vitamins week

@lmaster, I *think* I may have tried this Purlisse one in the early days of masking. Agree that it was nice, but not a standout mask. The watermelon mask remains my top choice from the brand, from a results and scent perspective! ๐ ๐
@itsfi yes the watermelon scent definitely helps boost my preference for it ๐
@lmaster I haven't tried this one yet, but I absolutely loved the watermelon one! Sorry this one wasn't super impressive.
@Shosh85 I love the watermelon version too and the charcoal ๐
The โless dullโ part sounds good, @lmaster! Iโve tried this one too, and remember not being overly impressed by it. Still...I think a mediocre masking > no masking at all๐๐ผ
M is for Mango and Melon
Peripera Smoothie Time Mango Sheet Mask๐ฅญ
This is a thin cotton sheet mask that had lots of milky serum and a very refreshing mango scent. The fit was great and was only slightly too wide at the temples. It adhered very well and was comfortable to wear the 30 minutes I had it on. The serum leftover was only slightly tacky, but absorbed very quick. My face looked brighter and less dull, my skin felt soft and smooth and the hydration from this was excellent!
This is another one I enjoyed and will repurchase as long as I can!
This is a super thin cotton sheet mask that was dripping with serum and had a yummy melon scent - kinda like imitation honeydew. The fit was just ok - the mouth and eye holes were all too small and was a little too short width-wise. It adhered well and after making adjustments to the eyes and mouth, it was comfortable to wear. I kept it on for about a half hour. After I removed it the leftover serum absorbed very quickly and left behind some light tackiness that lasted less than 10 minutes. My face looked brighter and had a nice glow, and my skin felt comfortably hydrated and soft and smooth.
I have tried all four from the line, and it seems they've all had pretty similar results - the scent it what sets them apart the most.
I have enough backups of the line at the moment, but when they're gone I'd love to repurchase them all. ๐
That mango Peripera @Shosh85 ๐คฉ I just saw it yesterday on RoseRose Shop, with a couple of others from that line. They all looked good!
@eshoe They are all SO good! That blueberry one is definitely my most favorite though! ๐๐ซ
You are giving me tropical vibes!! @Shosh85 ahhhh summer breeze with a fruity mask and drink in hand ๐
@lmaster Totally get summer vibes! These both were so good and so refreshing! ๐๐ฅญ๐
Great choices for M masks @Shosh85! ๐ Ohhhh, those Peripera masks! And that mango smoothie one in particular - milky serum, mango scented and soft, smooth and hydrated skin?!! ๐ Why again are they no longer making these sheet masks?!!! Sigh. ๐ฉ So sad to see the good ones go. โน๏ธ
Those A'Pieu masks have such cute packaging! I keep referring to them as the A'Pieu popsicle masks! Did you know that Missha is "revamping" the A'Pieu or at least its "online presence"? I just read about it yesterday on the Missha website. Not sure what that means, especially given that Missha titled the notice on its webpage as "Adieu A'Pieu". I suppose they could have just used "adieu" because it rhymes with A'Pieu, but the whole thing is making me think that A'Pieu will be no more, or at least A'Pieu as we know / knew it? Thought you might want to know in case you want to pick up more of those A'Pieu masks (and any other A'Pieu items) now.
@Shosh85 @itsfi I contacted Missha about the updated site and lack of A'pieu and this was their response back:
So, I guess the good news is the line isn't being discontinued. I'm hoping K-beauty retailers will continue to stock it though (and it looks like most of them have plenty of stock up right now). I find those pages easier to shop than Amazon if I'm just browsing.
@quspork Oh nice! That's good to know! Thank you so much for reaching out to them! I would've been very sad if they were gone for good!
