Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐Ÿ’—

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie  Haha. I absolutely love kale. Especially the curly kind - I'll eat a whole salad of it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@PrettyPaint do you have a secret recipe?  I swear I want to like it, I know it's good for me... but dang it I just can't get there... chips, salads, smoothies I'm maybe just not a kale gal?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie  It must just be a tastebud thing. That being said, I find fresh kale from the farmerโ€™s market to be so much better than what is found in the grocery store.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie  Hmmm..... I'll be interested to hear if you get the same results from repeating the skin care/foundation combo! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  I tried the same thing today without using a mask of any kind this morning (ya girl hit snooze one too many times).  It turns out I can keep hating on kale.... the volition strawberry serum, mushroom serum, milk moisturizer and sheseido sunscreen with the Nars sheer glow, Dior concealer and MUFE powder were apparently the right combo I've been looking for.  Dang it really is wearing well today too.  I'm going to see how long I can keep it on for tonight and return the kale chips from my online grocery cart back to the virtual shelves.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie  Oooh, that does sound like a nice combination - though, I was really hoping the Kale was a contributing factor! Haha!๐Ÿ˜‚

Horse fat for gross week ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿด

Mediheal Horse Oil Proatin Mask

This is a medium thickness cotton sheet mask that was saturated with a white, creamy and milky serum. It had both mouth and eye flaps. The scent was pretty pleasant- sort of fresh & clean with a little floral. The fit was ok - a little too long at the chin and not quite wide enough by the ears. It was comfortable to wear, though the extra length at the chin needed some occasional re-patting. I left it on for about a half hour. After removing the mask, I pressed in the leftover serum and it had a tacky feel that lasted about 15 minutes. My face felt great - refreshed, plumped, moisturized, hydrated and had a nice glow.

I really enjoyed this one! Besides the horse fat (6th ingredient) it also has several other ingredients I love as well. Unfortunately it has fragrance halfway down which isn't a deal breaker for me, just something I try to avoid when I can.

I definitely wouldn't hesitate to use again though, especially during the colder months. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Ahhhh @Shosh85, I remember using a horse fat mask a couple years ago, or maybe it was more than that, and my skin being very happy with me for choosing it. I've come to conclude that if most people find an ingredient 'gross' or not something they'd really be up for trying, most likely, my skin will loooove that ingredient. Oh yes. That seems to be the pattern.

By the way, I love that the brand wants us to know that this is made "with Jeju" horse oil. ๐Ÿคฃ As opposed to horse oil from another part of South Korea, or anywhere else for that matter. South Korea is on my list of places I'd like to visit and Jeju Island is one of the spots I'd like to go to while there because well, I feel like I need to experience it, what with all the reference to it in sheet masks and skincare products I use and love. ๐Ÿ˜ My list of places to visit consists primarily of skincare places and food. I know, I'm so predictable! Hahaha! There are other cultural hot spots on that list too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Most definitely gross, @Shosh85 ๐Ÿ˜† But isnโ€™t that how it works...those masks are the ones that do wonders for the skin.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Love this mask, @Shosh85- I don't know what it is about horse oil but my skin just adores it. Glad to hear it was a good one for you too!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@quspork  Happy to hear you liked this one too! So far the masks I've tried with horse oil have been really great! Would definitely love to try more ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿด

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

First reaction: Ewwww thats gross!  but glad it was worth having fat. On. Your. Face. @Shosh85 ๐Ÿด

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@sonnydee  Haha! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ I really do love the ingredient! .... it's not like I put straight up fat on my face or anything ๐Ÿ˜‚

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 I'm loving the results you got from this one!  I haven't tried horse fat as of yet, but maybe someday!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie  I have loved the horse fat masks I've tried so far and would definitely like to try and find more! .... I'll have a nice lil' curated collection of horse fat and salmon egg masks! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85 I feel like I'm supportive of this... but... if you managed to find a salmon egg and horse fat mask all in one... now that I'd be extra excited for!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  Oh my goodness. I haven't tried a horse oil mask before, but I'm glad the scent was pleasant. It sounds like it was really effective in terms of moisturizing!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@PrettyPaint  I have really loved the horse fat masks I've tried so far! It definitely seems like a great ingredient for dry skin!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Don't know that I have any horse in my stash but definitely worth checking out @Shosh85 from your review.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  I've had great experiences with the ingredient so far! I've only tried 3 masks, but loved them all! It does seem like an ingredient more geared for dry skin, and I do try to save them for the colder months or just when my skin is feeling drier than usual.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Getting back into masking...and of course it was an Oozoo one. I don't like this brand lol. This was hard to get drained out, I couldn't even tell if it had. I ended up opening it and stabbing it with a knife just to make sure. But oh man. This mask had so much serum/cream stuff, I can't think of the word. It was dripping every where at a very fast rate. It even went up my nose!!! And my face looked rather greasy in the morning.
