Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options

There are 2 ways to edit a response:

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

I think you will like the silver mask, @lmaster. Btw I used my Rose Heart Mask last night and it was a little less than what I was hoping for in terms of fit (the thick cotton kept pulling away from my chin) -though the results were fantastic!

The steam eye mask packaging is so cute, it’s too bad the warmth didn’t last longer but I’m glad that it did bring you some relaxation; hopefully your other packs of it will last a bit longer ☺️

The packaging always gets me, @bakeamuffin! The silver mask is really good, I haven’t tried the gold but most here say the silver is slightly better which is why I went with it. Glad I did👍🏼😊

Ha ha, yes I finally did, @itsfi, and it’s just what I was hoping for😊 I really like the foil masks, they fit and adhere well. This would be a great stocking stuffer! I think my non-masking family members would like it as it’s not drenched in serum (which those who don’t usually mask might find gross!).

Started off dermaplaning my checks and jawline (much needed), then followed up with the ORIGINS - Clear Improvement® Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores. Love Origins and love this charcoal mask. I’ve gone through many tubes and, in my always humble opinion, think it’s the best deep clean mask for the price. Plus, it dries up after about 15-20 min so you don’t have too much time invested. I then followed up with the REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Evercalm™ Ultra Comforting Rescue Maskto calm down my skin after the physical exfoliation I’d just put it through. I was lucky enough to snag this at TJ Maxx and I’m really happy with the purchase! It’s a fluffy mouse texture that sinks into the skin and really does get rid of redness. Welcome to the face shaving club, @eshoe! Hahaha! Really though, the only advice I can give is DO NOT use acids on your skin right after derma planning. I made that mistake once and thankfully there werent any bad side effects except 10min of burning and me jumping around doing yoga breathing. What’s the tool you use for dermaplanning?

@scott1201 my first and so far only brand-each one seems to work for two uses. Love them! I know I discovered them on the empties thread. I was looking at this little tool like what...on earth? Makes such a difference in makeup application. I just used one last night. In anticipation of my Edit 4 arrival tomorrow 😁
