Don't sign up for Boxy, that box is the biggest scam. I subbed for a year and half, 80% of the stuff was complete crap - no name brands and very poor quality yet they claimed it was expensive, high quality. I received damaged items, one time they sent everyone a used eyeshadow palette, gross!

The owner buys pallettes of unsold makeup for pennies on the dollar and then puts them into the boxes, it's junk. You'll get a black eyeliner just about every month too.

I'm not really pleased at all of what I'm getting on my monthly box subscription lately. I always get am email of what I am getting every month ,but everytime I receive the box it is not what exactly were the samples I'm supposed to be getting as described on the email sent to me. Just like last year's previous months missing products and the plastic pouch is opened and it happened again on my January box. I'm not supposed to get Golden latte mushroom mix and lip scrub. I already have those bite beauty on my last year's bday gift. I'm suppose to get a Lala Retro Whipped Cream and Good genes lactic acid treatment. I already emailed contact support,but I got no response. Please fix your service if not might just have to cancel my subscription.

I have received 3 boxes. The 1st box was rockin! The next 2 months were not what I was suppose to get according to my email sneak peek? I am sick of nude light lipsticks as well. If I fill out my likes skin type eye color etc then send products that will work for me. I am considering cancelling my sub. as well.

That mushroom late was BS. Who wants drink samples in their makeup box? I have an allergy and had to throw it away, I requested a replacement item and they said no. Their fix was giving me some insider points, ughh

Exactly! I had to cancel my subscription. I have the same 7 of the same nude color, and that drinking stuff.. so disappointing

January was my first Play box ever, but the exact same thing happened to me. I received an email announcing Drunk Elephant Lala Retro cream would be in my box. I was so disappointed to find a mushroom latte mix instead. What?! And I don't even drink coffee! Hoping it was just an off month. Suggestion to Sephora: Add categories to your Play subscriber profile questions AND actually pay attention to our answers in order to better target our needs with the samples you send each month. Subscribers like me will be happier with samples that meet our needs and more likely to purchase the products.

Same here!  It has happened so many times...with January 2019 box I received a refund because it showed pending shipment for over 10 days.  The box did end up getting shipped at about 14 days late but the items were not what was listed in the email....what is the point of them even sending those emails?!

Same thing happened to me too with the Jan play box. Sephora has been so disappointing lately! 😞

Same here.  My email and my online account showed a different box entirely.  It was mega disappointing.

I have been very disappointed with Play as well. I have Ipsy too and with Ipsy you get a cute reusable bag and they usually include different types of makeup brushes and actual makeup. It was irritating to get the exact same Bite lip combo that was the free birthday gift in 2018. Even worse, the agave lip scrub & moisturizer that is one of the free sample choices with an online purchase. I'm giving it another month or two before I cancel.  Also, it's no fun when your box for the month arrives at the end of the month. The program needs a major overhaul.
