Challenge of the Week! 2017/18

Hey Beauties! A couple years ago over on BT Classic, we did a weekly makeup challenge. It was a great way to shop your stash, try something new and different and meet some great people! Let's start it up again! 

The Rules:

Each Week, (On Saturday) I will post a new makeup challenge for the week. It will range from Brand challenges, to types of looks, or new/old items. Each day you participate in the challenge, you can post a pic in this thread (add it to the gallery too! Why not!) and tell us about your look! If you have ideas for challenges, post that too! We can add it to the schedule. Most important rule: HAVE FUN WITH YOUR STASH!

So I hardly wear lipstick (and if I do, it’s typically neutrals), but Sephora decided to send me the Kat Von d studded kiss sample pack instead of what I had chosen, so here’s roxy! Definitely not something I would wear normally.

I've done a couple of conventional bright lips, but here comes a bright lip "bad girl style". MAC lipstick in Blue Bang!, NYX lip liner (does anyone know a better liner in blue? NYX quality leaves much to be desired), Tarte eyeliner, blush and highlighter.

I don't own many indie brands, but I do love what I have. This is Rituel de Fille eye soot in Viscera with Make Cosmetics Matte eye shadows in Acid, Purple Congo, Purple Moor, and Midnight. I love the colors that Make makes. I find them to be lush, and there is a great variety. Most of these I got off of Amazon for about $4 each. I love finding a deal, but it makes me worried since it is such a small brand. I'd be sad if they aren't making it. 

Lipstick is Velvet Noise by Make, it's my fave everyday vamp-light purple. Highlighter is Make Face Gloss

I don't own a whole lot of Indie brands, so this look sums it all up:  blush, highlighter and bronzer by Trestique and lip crayon by Nudestix. The eyes are done with the UD x Kirsten Leanne Daydream palette.

This was a fun challenge and got me to use some of my pricier items that I shouldn’t let just sit around on my vanity for no good reason. I need to visit this thread more often!

Kinda bad photo. Charlotte tilbury instant look in a palette for eyes and cheeks. It’s my go-to for work 😄 a little bit of Dior lip balm in coral on my lips 😛

Luxury brand week? Well this look I just got my chocolate gold palette by TooFaced and I used the Anastasia Prism palette, Tarte Sex Kitten liner (fave), Lancôme foundation, deep Anastasia contour kit, Chanel lipstick and Trophy Wife highlighter by my girl RiRi.

Peachy day with UD X Kirsten Leanne Daydream palette:  

PTR primer and mineral sunscreen (which can actually work as powder foundation), UD X Kirsten Leanne palette on the eyes, ABH blush, Cover FX Click highlighter, Bite Beauty lip crayon in Peche on the lips.

When I think spring, I think bright flowery colours ! This was done using Huda Obsessions/ lashes & the my little pony palette w/colourpop. 🌹🌼🌸💐

for me spring means leaves and flowers -- green and pink. so here is my take on spring: ud Tenant palette on the eyes and Fenty gloss on the lips.

Hey guys! For you guys who have ideas for weeks, thank you! I will keep them in mind! I have a bunch of ideas for the remainder of Spring and most of the summer, but later in the summer, I have some big life things happening at the end of the summer and will probably need some help managing throughout that time, so your ideas will come in handy then. 🙂 Thanks again!
