Challenge of the Week! 2017/18

Hey Beauties! A couple years ago over on BT Classic, we did a weekly makeup challenge. It was a great way to shop your stash, try something new and different and meet some great people! Let's start it up again! 

The Rules:

Each Week, (On Saturday) I will post a new makeup challenge for the week. It will range from Brand challenges, to types of looks, or new/old items. Each day you participate in the challenge, you can post a pic in this thread (add it to the gallery too! Why not!) and tell us about your look! If you have ideas for challenges, post that too! We can add it to the schedule. Most important rule: HAVE FUN WITH YOUR STASH!

@fatimamummy oh that is GORGEOUS! I was afraid of creasing, any concerns so far?

Thank you @MissPuff . I used Nars eyeshadow base and set it with a powder shadow similar to my skintone before applying Chroma Crystal. It didn't crease on me and stayed put all day long.

I added a couple of makeup items to my order from RoseRoseShop (needed more MISSHA essence and CosRX pimple patches!) which arrived yesterday, so giving a few a test drive today.

- The Saem Cover Perfection concealer - I don't have a perfect match for NARS creamy concealer. Custard is a bit too light and not yellow enough, Ginger is too dark but the right undertone. Haven't gotten around to trying Canelle yet, since I don't want to commit to a full size. I got a couple tubes of The Saem concealer, in 1.5 and 2 and 2 is a perfect match! Right tone, and while is a yellow concealer it has a slight olive undertone which is perfect. It's more liquidy than the NARS but blends and covers just as well. Of course you can't beat the price at $3 US each! The only con is it has fragrance...I will never understand why Korean companies love to add fragrance to everything...but at least it's only a concealer so not very noticeable.

- The Saem Eco Soul Swag Jelly Shadow in "My Lady" - I'm a sucker for purples and I do love cream/jelly shadows that I can swipe on with my finger for an easy eye look. This one took a bit more work than I'd like, requiring a powder shade to blend out the edges, and only gave a sheer wash of purple, but for a day look I do like it! This was $6 US

- Tony Moly Lovely Eyebrow Pencil in Black Brown - I have issues justifying spending $20-$30 on a brow pencil because I go through them SO fast. These were $1.70 US each. So far so good!

- MAC lipstick in Shimmer & Spice (Snow Ball collection) - I wore this over Essence lip liner in "Soft Berry" (which was only $2 CAD) and I'm liking it! It's a softer and sheerer lip look, not usually what I go for, but pretty regardless.

Oh haha yes, that! @blackkitty2014 That hasn't happened since, thankfully. I've been weary of wearing that dress to work ever since though!

@k617 try the NARS RCC shades in Macadamia or Canelle! I was weirdly in between Custard and Ginger for a long time too. They are both about the same undertone but Macadamia is the slightly darker shade. I can swatch both with Ginger and Custard if you'd like.

@malday @mrsbaine Thank you! @malday I have swatched Cannelle before and I recall that it *looks* to be a better match but my face has the green undertone that the concealer seems to lack so I really just have to try it on! Thank you for offering to provide me swatches!
