The Fall Lip Challenge

Okay okay, so I know it isn't *technically* fall quite yet (we just had a heat wave in the Bay Area...) but we are just too excited to break out all of the mauves, browns and deep reds for this festive season! Whatever your take on a Fall lip is, we want to see your pics and hear your thoughts.

Here's the challenge: Dig into your lipstick stash and pull out those fall-themed lippies! Post below with your different looks and, of course, let us know what you're wearing. We love to hear application tips and your thoughts on the product.

"Harvest" liquid matte from Black Moon

Loving this liquid matte from Black Moon Cosmetics in the shade "Harvest." Pic doesn't do it justice. Long-wearing, opaque, yummy smelling, not prone to patchiness or crumbing. Among my fave mattes from BM along with "Libra."

Looks very opaque @DeusExMascara What do they smell like? Now I’m curious!! I haven’t tried Black Moon, but have seen very good things!

Many of the liquid lips smell like vanilla frosting or a cake of some sort, very sweet, but also very subdued. The scent is pleasant but not overly strong, and the scent disappears over time- but the lips stay on great! I find they work best after you use a lip scrub, especially mattes. First apply lip balm if you feel you need to.

When I first ordered from Black Moon, I included in the notes that I would love to try a sample of eye makeup if they had any. They sent me a full size tube of Cosmic Eye Dust in the shade Cosmos. I was so happy.

The liquid lips are super pigmented and very opaque! Easy to get full coverage. Some nude shades may be a little less opaque and require a second coat, but definitely no more than two.

That’s an amazing sample @DeusExMascara! Totally awesome! I love when lipsticks smell good, I can’t stand icky lipstick smells, and that sounds perfect. I’m going to have to try something there.

Go for it. Black Moon is a hidden treasure. I saw It'sBlackFriday review some liquid lipsticks on YouTube, and I could not get to their online store fast enough.
