100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

I know @itsfi . That’s one of the reasons I join this challenge… to remind myself I have wayyy tooo many lipsticks. 🤣😂 Need to control myself

It's been fantastic being able to see you work through your collection here @blackkitty2014 and on the other threads. I did the Capsule Makeup Collection Challenge 2025 to make sure I'm cycling through my things and the Pan It! - 2025 Challenge is a good reminder of what progress looks like and a good motivator for me to be more thoughtful in what I pick up and when. I mean, don't get me wrong, I still buy 🤣 but my purchases now are, for the most part, much, muuuuuch less FOMO and retail therapy driven.

Hello @snoflakefaerie !!! We'll i don't got the lipstick collection you got . I only got 5 if you count lipgloss then 14 total.  I plan on adding more during this next year and so on. I like my lips pink so I'm always on the lookout and open to new brands so any suggestions would be appreciated.  I'm also hoping to get a tutorial in store on how to outline my lips with a pencil some time soon. I want my lips to look flawless. 

 I'll start the challenge today with my favorite lipstick so far. Macximal Sleek Satin ( Saint Germain color). U can find me around town today and at the bar tonight pounding brewski's with my broski's with this pretty pink lipstick on my lips.

Hello @Samtian !!! Oh no I might of already failed the challenge.  Since Wednesday I've only worn one lipstick (Saint Germain) then nothing but gloss Summer Fridays  and Fenty (fu$$y). Don't tell anyone. Haha.

Hi @itsfi ! Yep. To me  it's all about the lips. And nothing gets everyone's attention faster then a pretty set of pink lips.

Hi @CynthieLu !!! We'll it depends.  If I'm down at the pizza parlor scarfing down slices(pizza) with my broski's it doesn't last long. If out pounding brewski's but not eating maybe an hour or hour and a half.  If I'm just cruising around in ride not eating or drinking it holds up pretty good ( 1 to 2.5 hours). I got Macximal Sleek Matte Lipstick in Candy Yum Yum and that stuff holds up forever. I'm talking 6 to 12 hours. I gotta use a makeup remover to get it off. If ur looking for something that really last I would recommend that.  I've only tried Candy Yum Yum though. I think the Macximal Sleek Satin Lipstick is really good though.  Keeps my lips hydrated and it looks glossy.

Aaaah it's hard, I really do prefer the moisturizing feel of satin lippies but they definitely don't seem to last nearly as long as the matte and dryer feeling formulas. You have really made me curious about both formula's thou. I may investigate them next time I'm close to our little Mac outlet here 

Now truthfully, I couldn't expect a lippie to hold up too eating a good meal gracefully, or at least I've never come across one in my adventures. 😄

@CynthieLu . If I really need something that holds up ( like I'm going out to the bar for hours drinking) I just wear the matte (candy Yum Yum) and go over it with a gloss. Then my lips look glossy and hydrated and that matte pigmentation holds for ever. Macximal Sleek Matte goes on really smoothly not like other mattes I've tried.  Sometimes mattes are really hard to apply.

I relate to this! I find them hard to apply sometimes too @sissyboi72,  My method is to build the color up slowly. 👌 I find it's more forgiving lol.

This is pretty @Samtian! It's a beautiful coral pink and can I say how much I love it paired with that eyeshadow?!! Spring is in the air! How do you feel about the gloss - is it staying or getting tossed?
