Hi BIC!
A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.
Thanks @Ispend2much6 ! Things like this are why I’m so pleasantly surprised by the NARS reformulations. I love it when a brand’s product change is a true improvement. 🙂
MAC worked with a woman who has tetrachromacy to create the Liptensity shades. Each shade is a full punch of color, and they’re named in such a way that helps folks with regular ol’ color vision perceive the hue differences—and helps people with above average color vision explain what they see. That plus the creamy longwearing performance makes Liptensity such a special line of lipsticks. Sucks to see them disappearing. Oh well.
I think I almost bought this one when it was on sale @WinglessOne . It looks great on you! Sorry you’re not feeling well.
Wow, this is hot!!! Oooh, I want one of these 🙂 I'm sorry you are not feeling well, being sick during the "summer" really sucks. I hope you feel better quickly @WinglessOne
Thank you @Buootiful ! I hope being this physically ill in late summer means I won’t be sick in fall, my favorite season. 🙂 I also hope you can still find some Liptensities. MAC still has a few online but not every shade.
Gorgeous fuschia pop of colour. Looks so good on you @WinglessOne ❤️
@Weetart That shade is perfect for your skin tone.
We’re almost lipstick twins again @Weetart . I have this color in a bullet. Looks great on you! Now that I think about it, I haven’t worn it for this challenge. 🤔 BTW, sorry to hear about your furbaby.
Thanks @divaknits ! And you should wear your bullet! And also thank you regarding my furbaby. He was a good fuzzy buddy and I miss him dearly.
As usual, these pinks are gorgeous on you! For some reason, this color isn't as drying like other KVD's, I notice extra dryness with like Roxy and put extra balm underneath. @Weetart
Thanks @Buootiful ! This is a good one. I honestly don't know remember if I have/had Roxy or not. My major problem with some of them is if I don't get the application right the first time it can appear streaky... honestly that's most if not all liquid lips. If I don't get it right with my first swishes I usually just remove unless I'm running out the door.
So true @Weetart That happened to me when I first put on KVD Backstage Bambi. I saw the streakiness and ketp applying and applying and applying. Then it got too cakey, lol. I just left it the way it was but learned my lesson not to do that 🙂
