I was pretty excited to try everything out in this box, so I’ve decided to use each product as my hair goes through different stages of its wash cycle. For second day, previously straightened hair, I went in with the amika Rising Star Volumizing Finishing Spray 5.3 oz / 165 mL . After I straighten my hair, the second day can sometimes be a little lifeless/limp. I found there to be noticeable lift not only at the roots, but in the mid portion as well. I sprayed a few strategically placed bursts along my part and front sections, and gave it a bit of a scrunch to disperse the product into other areas. The scent was very Amika-signature (iykyk). I didn’t find it to weigh my hair down, and wasn’t crunchy or sticky. That being said, my hands were sticky after scrunching my hair. All in all, I’m really impressed with the longevity of the look!! My hair did frizz up by the end of the day, but it was 100F and incredibly humid, so that’s not the Amikas fault 😂
