I have finally used all of my hair goodies and here are my reviews.

Kérastase Elixir Ultime Refillable Hydrating Hair Oil 

This is a long time love! My hair looks so much healthier when I use it consistently. I use it overnight, as a deep oil treatment, as a detangler on wet hair, and sometimes to tame any frizz or flyaways. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream Original 

This is unfortunately too heavy for my hair. I tried it multiple ways and it added too much weight to my hair. The scent is nice but I’ll definitely be giving it to someone with thicker hair. ⭐️⭐️

amika Rising Star Volumizing Finishing Spray 5.3 oz / 165 mL  I’m not a big fan of the scent but otherwise this was a good product for me. It gives a bit of volume and hold and doesn’t feel sticky or stiff. It’s not something I would reach for often so I wouldn’t purchase it on my own.⭐️⭐️⭐️

Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong Finish 10 oz/ 330 mL  I really like this hairspray. I feel like it’s more of a medium instead of strong hold. It doesn’t feel stiff or crunchy and it lasts really well for me. I’m not a huge fan of the scent but it fades pretty fast so it’s not a dealbreaker.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Briogeo Style + Treat™ Hair Styling Sleek Stick 0.5 oz / 15 g 

This is great for taming frizz and flyaways. I don’t ever wear my hair in a sleek style so it’s not something I would purchase on my own.

COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer 

I definitely notice some volume from this. I like that it doesn’t make my hair feel stiff or sticky. I’ve used several items from the colorwow volume line and I prefer the COLOR WOW Dream Cocktail Carb-Infused Thickening Leave In Treatment 6.7 oz/ 200 mL over this one but it is better than the COLOR WOW Raise the Root Thicken and Lift Spray 5 oz/ 150 mL which is super sticky.

I’ve finally used my products enough to review!

I've always loved the Kérastase Elixir Ultime Refillable Hydrating Hair Oil, I think I’m in my 10th or 11th bottle of the oil in the old packaging. It’s expensive but you get a lot, much more than the tiny Olaplex and other brand of oils. I have very thick, curly, dry hair and use if when I put it in a ponytail or when it feels extra dry. I’m very happy to have a refillable version.

I really like the dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream Original. It makes a very nice leave-in, just as nice as my #L’Oreal curl cream. Neither has much hold, but I always need a nice leave in or curl cream under my curl gel to keep my curls in place, especially in humidity (which was 75% yesterday).

The Briogeo Style + Treat™ Yuzu + Plum Oil Hair Styling Sleek Stick 0.5 oz / 15g is ok. I used it on some fly-aways, but may be better if I wear my hair in a bun, which I don’t do that often.  

I realized I would never use the COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer, amika Rising Star Volumizing Finishing Spray 5.3 oz / 165 mL, and Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong Finish 10 oz/ 330 mL. They’re just not for my hair type. I donated these to a charity for young mothers.

Well, I had meant to style my hair last night, so I applied the COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer #but ran out of time, so I ended up air drying and going to sleep without styling. Then this morning, I just had to put it up in a bun to keep it out of my face all day.

So, I was pleasantly surprised when I finally took it down this evening! 

it felt soft but definitely more voluminous than air drying on my own. You can see the difference in waves though compared to the dae styling cream I posted below. This smoothed out my waves considerably. 

Anyway, I look forward to trying again and actually styling my hair!

Today I used all Color Wow products-

COLOR WOW Color Security Shampoo 8.4 oz/ 250 mL 

COLOR WOW Money Mask Deep Hydrating & Strengthening Hair Treatment 7.5 oz/ 215 mL 

to wash and condition my hair.

I used the Money Mask on my ends for extra moisture, COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer , and COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray Anti-Frizz Treatment  before blow drying my hair. I was told my hair “looked soft” and it was really bouncy.

I added COLOR WOW Pop + Lock Frizz Control + Glossing Serum 1.8 oz/ 55 mL   for some added moisture and shine. Not sure that it added that much shine but it did help with smoothing.

In case anyone is needing tips on how to use the Briogeo Style + Treat™ Yuzu + Plum Oil Hair Styling Sleek Stick 0.5 oz / 15g   I have finally figured out how to apply it without looking like I have never heard of shampoo.  
i spread it onto a makeup palette and then use a Ben Nye STB-07 makeup brush (it’s a glorified toothbrush) to take it off the palette. I then apply it to my hair using the brush.  It goes on much better that way and takes care of any and all flyaways.

Good tip. I applied directly which worked but I would only do it when I know I’m washing that day or the next because it was a lot. @heartsmyface

@peculiarzmakeup  It worked much better than applying it directly did.  I suppose it could have passed slicked back in a tight pony.
