Danessa Myricks Beauty Dewy Cheek & Lip Palette Dew It Undercover  - whaaaat, did I really buy a neutral/nude palette? So unlike me! 😂 As much as I wanted the more colorful palette, I decided to try cheek shades I don’t have many of in my collection. This should inspire me to find different uses for each nude shade (excluding contouring, which I don’t do), which may include mixing 2 or more colors. And okay, also because I already have too many berry and rose blushes. In my swatch photo (below), the deepest shade looks very purple plummy and that's partly because of the cool toned ring light I used. It's actually a deep rich brownie batter shade, but it does have a purple undertone that shows up in some lighting. 

Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Flushed - Matte Color for Cheek & Lip Golden Hour  - anyone who has issues with the original Yummy Skin Blurring Balm won’t like this Flushed version: they have the same texture and the only INCI differences are colorants. The original balm works well for me, so I expect the same from the Flushed balm. I’m doing a short wear test right now: I finger-applied Golden Hour to one cheek 30 minutes ago, starting lightly before building color up a bit. It was easy to blend out with my fingers, and I can make it look like a natural subtle flush or a more pigmented blush if I want with very little effort. And it has a natural skin finish. I’ll have to test it a full day to see how long it holds up, but for now I’m sold. If Danessa ever releases a purple/fuchsia shade, I’ll buy it.

@danielledanielle  I keep hoping those blush balms will hit stores so I can swatch-compare Bellini, Jubilee, and Golden Hour. But it's probably best that these are online-only (for now, assuming Ulta won't get 'em all in-store*), so I'm not tempted in person to buy all of the colors. Hope you enjoy Golden Hour if/when you order it! 

*EDIT FOR CLARITY: no, I haven't heard and don't know if Danessa Myricks is coming to Ulta. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened though. Ulta's been steadily adding "prestige" brands for a few years now, most recently Natasha Denona. So I kinda have an "it's just a matter of time" perspective on brands not yet available at Ulta. 😄
