I bought the same Year of the Rabbit collection when it was first released. The reviews online make it sound terrible, but I really liked what they put together!

@JoSometimes I got the set on sale, and the lashes alone are about half of the cost. Plus, I thought it would be a great way to try some new thing. Thanks for the feedback. Yay to March babies!

Coincidentally, I was running low on many of my usual skin care items AND it was payday AND it was also my birthday! It was a really bad (or good, depending on your point of view) combination of events today.

I picked up my skin care staples and my birthday gift at the same time. I decided the Ilia set was the safest option. My skin is sensitive and new skin care makes me nervous. I didn’t want to waste my present on something that I might not be able to use.

And there happened to be a Marshall’s in the same plaza, so I swung by for fun and saw a cute little ColourPop palette. It’s hard to come by anything from their lineup here, but they seem pretty popular on social media. It’s very summery, and I’m excited to try it out once the weather warms up. I also treated myself to a cute dress, some boots, and some pants, which I slightly regret, but it’s my birthday, so how could I not?
