Morphe X James Charles Eyeshadow Palette "Dupe"

Hey guys!

So I absolutely LOVE the rainbow of colors from the iconic Morphe X James Charles eyeshadow palette and how pigmented the colors are.  I'm sure many of you would say the same thing.  I always see the amazing Instagram works done using that palette.

The problem was that when I went to the Morphe store, I saw that the palette was Made in China.  I NEVER use any makeup products made in China (and try to minimize using products made in certain countries that aren't Europe, Korea, or Japan) due to the possibility of infections or other problems related to any chemicals they use.  I know this can sound a little much and products from all countries have a possibility of giving anyone an infection, but my mom has always taught me to never use makeup products or consume products made in China.

I'm looking for a similar eyeshadow palette that is NOT made in China, preferably one that doesn't have too many glittery shadows.  I did like the Moschino Laptop Palette but that had too many glittery shadows.

I would suggest the born to run palette from urban decay. It does not have as many colors but was created with the same idea. It is a palette designed to provide you with many different types of looks from smokey, to nude or colorful. I really enjoy using it!

Girl absolutely NEVER buy morphe products. Morphe is a sham of a beauty company. As evidence by the Jacklyn hill saga with dog hair, glass shards, and only god knows what else. Morphe is a rush job, cheap knock off brand of makeup. There is a comparable two faced palette. Two faced offers a rainbow palette and so does tarte. I always go for the vegan and cruelty free products. Good luck and keep us posted what you buy!

I would try Colourpop. They don’t have as big of shadows. But they do have lots and lots of $12 palettes that come in almost every shade. They are great quality and made in the US. (Or at least I’m 90% sure they are)
