[Update 6/3] There is now an option to download your Forum contributions and personal information. Please see instructions in the FAQ further down below!
[Update 6/1] We wanted to remind you that starting June 3, the Beauty Insider Community ✨Forum✨ will become read-only with no new posts or replies being made. The Forum will officially retire and become inaccessible come August, so now is a great time to screenshot posts, photos, or conversations from the Forum that you want to save in your personal files.
To our bold, creative, and always curious Beauty Insider Community ✨Forum✨ members:
We’re sharing a bittersweet message today—this coming August we will be retiring this Forum. We know, we’re bummed too.
For more than 15 years, our Beauty Insider Community has been a place for Sephora die-hards to talk about their favorite products, ask questions about routines, and show off their favorite looks. While this was a difficult decision, we've loved seeing this group thrive and we're incredibly proud of what we've built together.
We'll be here every step of the way as we start to wind things down. 🤝 Here's what to expect along the way...
June 3: The Forum will become read-only and will only be accessible on desktop or mobile (no more app!). This means that you have until June 3 to make your final contributions to your favorite threads (Masking Challenge! Shop Your Stash! April Hauls!), revisit any favorite posts, and connect with your fellow BIC-ers.Your Community profile will be retired on June 4 (updated from June 3), and your profile photo will be replaced with Winky. REMINDER: Community Gallery is not going away, so your Gallery posts and profile are here to stay!Mid-August: Community Forum and its posts will no longer be accessible.
Have no fear! There are still plenty of ways to stay connected with us:
📷 Gallery: Post your selfies, shelfies, hauls, and more
💯 Ratings & Reviews: Sound off on products
🗨 Questions & Answers: Help others with your wealth of beauty knowledge
🤳🏾 Social: Follow us on Instagram and TikTok for the latest Sephora news and drops
We are immeasurably grateful to you for your engagement and enthusiasm on this platform over the years. You made this a safe space where everyone felt seen and accepted. We may be signing off here, but you will always be welcome at Sephora. Thank you for everything!
Read on for more info and FAQ about the transition:
When is the last day I can use the Forum?
The last day to contribute new posts and content to the Forum is June 3. Starting June 3, Forum content will remain available in a read-only state until early August, so be sure to copy or take any screenshots you may want to save in the meantime!
Will I still be able to send private messages (PMs) to other community members?Private messaging will no longer be available once the Forum becomes read-only on June 3. After that, we hope you’ll continue connecting with fellow shoppers in other ways by posting in Gallery, Ratings & Reviews, and Q&A.
If the Forum is going away, how do I get in touch with Sephora?
There are still ways to connect with us! Find us on social, or head to our customer service hub here: sephora.com/beauty/customer-service
Will Reviews, Q&A, and Gallery continue to be supported long‑term?
Yes! We hope you continue posting your selfies, shopping hauls, and videos on the Gallery, sounding off on products in Ratings & Reviews, and sharing your beauty expertise in Questions & Answers on product pages.
What happens to my profile picture?
Customized profile photos will be going away on June 4 as part of the Forum closure.
What happens to my username or nickname?
Your Community username is here to stay! It will continue to be associated with any Gallery posts, Ratings and Reviews on product pages, or Question & Answer content you share.
What happens to my badges, ranks, or status levels?
We will say goodbye to Community badges and ranks (for example, FRESH FACE II, RISING STAR III, ICON I) when the Forum retires. Your Beauty Insider tier (Insider, VIB, or Rouge) or any progress on active Beauty Insider Challenges will not be affected! Your BI points will also be unaffected.
Will all my content go away?
Only your Forum content—including your profile (sephora.com/profile/me) and posts—will be going away as we say goodbye to the Community Forum. We encourage you to continue sharing content with your fellow Sephora shoppers on the Community Gallery, Ratings & Reviews on product pages, and Questions & Answers on product pages!
(Updated 6/3) Is there a way to save my posts?
There is now an option to download your Forum content as a CSV or JSON file. To do so, first tap the Settings gear in the top right corner (next to the notifications bell):
Then navigate to Personal Information:
From there, scroll down to “Downloads” where you’ll see options to download your Forum content and information:
PLEASE NOTE: Images will be exported as links within the Forum, which will only be accessible until mid-August. Please save down any images you wish to keep to your local device.
How long will I have access to save my content ?
You will have the ability to download, screenshot, or save any of your content until the Forum closes in August.
What will happen to all my profile/account information?
Your Community profile (sephora.com/profile/me) will go away as we say goodbye to the Community Forum. You can continue to view your other Sephora information in the following places:
-Beauty Preferences: sephora.com/profile/beautypreferences
-Beauty Insider Summary: sephora.com/beautyinsider
-Account Settings: sephora.com/profile/myaccount
Will old Forum content redirect somewhere else on sephora.com?
Starting in August, previous Forum threads will be redirected to relevant shopping pages on sephora.com or, in some cases, the Gallery.

Hi Pet People! Well, I've been thinking about this update since last September. It's a really sad update for our last day, but I wanted to share for those of you who followed my little Teine here on BIC. She was a perfect match for a Sephora box and nobody loved an unboxing or swatch session more than my Teine! Whether it was a Sephora box, BIC gratis, a collection display, or especially loved were the Galentine's Day boxes, she was always right by my side. At night, she slept in my arms like a little cuddly spoon. She loved to hang out in the garden, too. We almost lost Teine at 4 years old from an unknown illness that lasted months, when she miraculously started to recover on Easter Sunday, after a visit to urgent care on the Friday before where she was starting to have trouble breathing and had lost all her pink color in her nose and ears from severe anemia! Unfortunately, at the age of only 10, our Teine got sick suddenly one morning last September. She didn't eat her breakfast (this happened on occasion, maybe a couple times/year, but she had been checked out and nothing was found to be wrong and she bounced back within a day each time. But, as this day went on, she seemed worse. When we took her to urgent care that afternoon, they did x-rays and found a massive tumor in her abdomen and they told us her body was likely shutting down. After fluids, some pain meds, and warming, we ended up taking our Teine home and she passed away within an hour of arriving home, in our arms. I'm crying now, and we miss her every single day. I wanted to share some of my favorite pics of Teine, though it was hard to choose from almost 3,000 pictures in my camera roll, just of her. I know this is too many pictures, but here they are anyway. RIP my Teine. ❤️❤️❤️Thanks for all the love and support and sending so much love to everyone and all your fur babies here! Give them lots of extra hugs and squeezes from me and Teine and Tama!

Fragrances MM Beachwalk. It's one that's stuck with me and been an easy summer choice for at least a decade.Elizabeth and James Nirvana French Grey. This was gifted to me by a dear friend probably around 2016 or so. It's been a winter staple ever since. Ouai St Barts Hair and Body Mist. This one was provided as gratis a few years ago and I really enjoy it both in summer and as a winter pick me up to remind me that summer does exist!MM Coffee Break has been my go to in the fall. It brings me good vibes of warmth and coffee!New entries to my favourites have been 7 Virtues Strawberry Jam and Ellis Brooklyn Isla Sirena. Lovely on their own or mixed together.Base ProductsFenty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint -- An easy formula and a great shade match for me. It wears well with all of the skincare I've tried underneath and wears evenly through the day. Nars Pure Radiant Skin Tint. Still hits after all these years. Natasha Denona Hy-Glam concealer. It's a great full coverage option. Doesn't need a lot for great coverage. Kosas Revealer Concealer. Great for me as what I'd call a medium coverage option. Tower 28 Concealer. What I deem a lighter option for me that I enjoy using as a spot touch up.Cle de Peau stick concealer. I've loved this as both an under eye option when warmed up with my finger and as a great touch up mid day if I've had some wear on my base or am needed to go out after a long day at work. Works well with anything else I've got on and blends into those products seamlesslyMUFE pressed powder. Blurs, mattifies without being cakey, good value for money. EyesViseart shadows. Some of the best mattes hands down. UD pencil eyeliners. I keep going back to these. Great shade ranges, easy to smudge a bit and also stay put as a tight liner. I'm hoping the new Marc Jacobs liners are similar to their older range as those were the tops liners for me. YSL Lash Clash has been my favourite that is still available. I have longer lashes that I really enjoy volumizing with mascara. Love the blue option they have as well. LipI'm a tinted balm kinda gal....Rhode Lip Tint, Patrick Ta liptints, Ole Henriksen Lip Treatment, Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm.Lip Stains.. Love a lip stain. All time fav is the Fenty Poutsicle's Leneige JuicePop, easy to wear shades and easy comfortable formula, not the longest lasting. YSL vinyl Shine Lip Stains. Lovely shades, easy to wear. HaircareKerastase has a few ranges that have worked wonderfully for me. The Chroma Absolu and Gloss Absolu ranges are favourites and the Chroma Absolu Gloss Treatment has really worked so well for my longer, dyed, oily roots, dry ends hair.In a more affordable range the Amika The Kure range and Smooth Over range have been steady repurchases for me. Dyson Airwrap. It's been so easy to use for me to get a style that I like and can execute daily. Love the different attachments and that when I travel I can use it as a hair dryer as well.ToolsSephora Pro brushes. Hands down a great range. Easy to use, great price point, last for a long time, great quality.Beauty blender. I'm a beauty blender gal for base products. I keep going back. Honourable mention to Real Techniques sponges as well. SkincareDr. Jart Ceramidin Moisture Cream. A steady product in my winter rotation that helps with broken skin barrier and extreme dryness. Innisfree Green Tea HA cream. It's a lighter gel cream that I really finds moisturizes without leaving a film at all. It really sinks in and hydrates. Tatcha the Rice Wash. One I go back to time and again. Easy to use without having to think about it.Youth to the People Superfruit Exfoliating Cleanser with Vitamin C & Papaya. This has been such a go to exfoliating cleanser that makes me feel like I'm exfoliating without over doing it.Philosophy microdelivery facewash. Again, a great exfoliating cleanser that isnt' too harsh.Hanyul Brightening Mask to Cleanser. Love this as a morning cleanse where I put it on and then wash it off two or three minutes later. Has the most beautiful lemon scent!Rohto Mentholatum Skin Aqua SPF. I really loved the violet version but haven't seen it in forever. Cay Skin Isle Glow SPF. A beautiful glow that wears well with other products. Cay Skin SPF tinted lip balm. Has the lowest amount of 'spf taste' and still protects while looking great. Vacation Super Sprits SPF 50 Spray. I love this as a mid day touch up for my facial SPF.

Do you remember when you joined Beauty Insider Community or Beauty Talk? What inspired you to join in? I was a silent observer on BT for quite some time and finally bit the bullet and posted a reply on a thread where someone was asking about 'beachy fragrances'. When BT ended I took a big break and was so excited when I came back to BIC and made so many new friends! What was the product you found through BIC that has had the most impact on your collection? All the sheet masks!!! I don't think I'd ever tried a sheet mask before the sheet mask thread and I quickly fell in love! My skin really does love it when I use them, but I may have gone a weeeee bit overboard with how many I was buying... I think I still have around 500 left. Favourite BIC thread(s) over the years?By no means an exhaustive list... The masking thread, the wellness threads, the empties threads, sale threads, deals thread Any threads or ways you wished you'd be able to participate in more often, or wished you'd created?I wanted to create a thread about preparing for Sephoria! Exercise regime included lol. I always wished I'd interacted more on the wellness threads and the capsule threads! Ever participate in traveling boxes or gift exchanges? Tell us a fun memory?yes! These were so much fun. I honestly really enjoyed getting to know people and figure out what they might like for a gift! Most memorable gratis?I think the most memorable gratis for me were the 'merch' from BIC. When BT ended the Hall of Famers recieved a lipstick that was custom made from BIC. I still have that lipstick and love it every National Lipstick Day! The pool floatie was also pretty wicked. How would you collection of products or beauty usage in general have looked differently were it not for BIC in your life?Ha!! It would be 1/10th the size it is now. Has BIC impacted your 'in real life' world? Gotten any friends involved or met some real life friends through the forum?Yes, so many people I've met in real life and online are what I'd call real world friends now. Loved getting to meet so many people at Sephoria's! Are you hoping to stay in contact with some people?Yes! Please add me on instagram missshawnajean! Any and all wonderful memories you'd like to share?I think being named an Ambassador and the opportunities that it provided to meet others in person will stick with me forever. I'm also so thankful for everyone who's contributed over the years and become true influencers in my life.

@itsfi I saw the teasers but I didn’t see all this!!!! How cute!!! Are you eyeing anything? I’m intrigued in the highlight milk. I would have to test it in person. It’s sorta like the Saie Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Multipurpose Illuminator i feel like I’d be less likely to use it on my whole face but I’d have to see. The bronzers look nice.
