Shipping

I am just a bit frustrated when it comes to shipping. I placed my order on 2023-01-26 (January) , it gave me an estimated date of 2023-01-30, then it changed to 2023-01-31. But nothing arrived. Then this morning when I checked my email, it changed to "still calculating, please check back soon"... and on my delivery status last update it shows is "shipped" and in the shipment progress it shows on 2023-01-26 "shipper Created Label, Package Not Yet Received".

And when placing my Sephora order it said it would take about 1-3 business days, then when I check my order receipt it says "Shipping may take longer than normal due to high demand. Please check your expected delivery date above. Thanks for your patience." If when I was checking out on the Sephora website and if I was made aware of the shipping issues prior, I would have just purchased in store. But I wasn't made aware until after my order was place....

I called Sephora customer service this morning, and I was asking if I can track down when my package will arrive since I have NO tracking information available to me. But the lady on the phone along with her "supervisor" couldn't provide me any answers, other then I need to wait for 2-5 business days and if I don't receive my package by Friday call... I am confused, because I've waited the time frame. As she stated orders aren't processed same day... Okay but looking at Sephora's "business" days Saturdays are included and if that isn't the case I will have waited 4 business days with no information on my shipment. I place my order on the 2023-01-26 because I was under the impression it would be here BEFORE the weekend. If orders can't arrive by the time stated, it should be stated in the check out process before not after. 

 

Edit: MOD Sephora Employee told me my package was "lost in transit" , which I was offered a refund or reshipment, I responded and heard nothing back. But I called customer service and was able to get a refund. Woot Woot. Still disappointed on how my package was lost so quickly. After reading these reviews I will only shop in-store or order pick up, I don't want to be labeled as "problem" for shipping issues like so many others.
