Payment reversed?

I placed a few orders online and my bank account reversed the charges for my oldest order (1 week ago). Is it because the order wasn’t shipped for a certain period of time? When I check my order on my account it states In Progress. Should I be concerned and contact customer service? Or will Sephora take the funds out again once my order has shipped?

Hi @EmmaNoelA,

A pre authorization hold is placed on your account when an order is placed. It is not a charge. The hold drops off after a couple of business days. We only charge when orders ship. Please send me a direct message if you need further assistance.

same thing happened to me twice already.

According to the message that I've got, the reversed payment will be collected back once the orders get shipped. I'm just waiting for my orders to be shipped...

That’s what I thought as well, but considering the fact that the sale ends in a day. I would like to see a shipping confirmation or reassurance from Sephora. I would really hate to go through the hassle of reordering or having to call customer service since I’m seeing there’s ridiculous wait times for the customer service line.
