App glitching - loves list

Hi-

 

Is anyone having trouble with their loves list over the past day or so? After the forced update, anything I had added in March was gone and a bunch of stuff I had deleted was there. 

I added items back to the list and they were there for a bit and then I was forced to log back in and all my new stuff was gone, some items I had added last week were there but then so was stuff I had deleted and items that had been on my list forever are now gone. 

on top of that, I’m being forced to re-login every time I open the app. I can’t find app status information anywhere so I thought I’d ask here.

 

I’m just trying to collect my ideas for what to buy during the sale and don’t want to keep redoing the same thing because the app is janky…

@maryfranw, I'm so sorry to hear this! Can you please provide the make/model of the device you're using the app with? Additionally, are you seeing this issue with the Loves List on the web browser as well, or only the app?

@A7Xg, I'm sorry to hear this! It looks like your private messages are turned off, and you can adjust your preferences in your Community settings (on the browser only, not the app). If you would like to send me a private message with a screenshot of the Loves List issue, I'll look into this. Please also confirm if you're seeing this issue on the app, in addition to the web browser. Thank you!

I’m having the same issue! Of course it would be the time I just saved a bunch of foundations I shade matched in the store 🙃

- Is the issue on both the app and web browser (Ex: Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge)?

Same here!!  Plus, all the items I've added to my cart are gone...looks like it's pulling in my old added items from an overwritten server or something odd like that.  Mercury must be in retrograde 🙄

Thanks for the feedback and recco's too!  Just within the last 10 minutes actually my app finally started to function correctly...BUT I did have to force stop, uninstall the app and power down completely then reinstall and signbin again before it corrected itself.  *I've been experiencing the same issues as everyone else in the thread.  

 

- My phone is a new Samsung S24+ and Google/Google Play is the backend powering my phone + app store. 

 

- Chrome and Samsung Web browsers are my defaults, and both were experiencing glitches over the last 24 hours. 

 

- Version 25.5 

 

- I don't have the exact time stamp, but my glitches aligned with the timing of the first user's post about the glitch (if you need an exact stamp you can refrence the timming from my post in the thread). My issues were consistent all night (I was shopping a lot/had to keep adding-to- cart because the app kept resetting/deleting my hearted items and items in my cart).  😞 

 

- I'm still seeing a lot of glitches though when I click on my email notifications from you as it's linking to the web browser and not the app server;  then asks me to sign in but the sign in button and the letter button are disabled on the web version ..and then when i click on my profile button while connected to the web, it takes me to my app's homepage.  For me, the web and app server codes aren't syncing on the backend unless it's always been this way?! Idk, I'm brand new to the Beauty Insider Community; I only cane here to find you and ask you for help with missing items from my order (circa Reddit) lol.

I'm having the same issue! All of the items I added in March are gone and it reverted back to an old wishlist from January.
