anyone have a swatch of tropicalia from the luxetrance line? My sephora doesn't have it so I can't see it in person and the lipsticks always look different on compared to the company pics she provides. It looks like a gorgeous coral in the instagram pic she posted weeks ago but based on other lipsticks I have from pmg I know not to 100% trust these.

@Ardnaxela28 I don’t have Tropicalia, otherwise I’d post a swatch for you. But have you checked Temptalia? She’s probably done a full review of that shade and other LuxeTrances. 🙂

@Ardnaxela28  Yeah, PMG’s product photos of lipsticks are rarely accurate. I own, oh, a few LuxeTrances and MatteTrances 😄 and none of them match PMG product photos. They’re not completely off but, you know, they’re just not quite right because of the lighting (physical or digital) used in those photos.

Sounds like you’ve already learned not to trust PMG product photos for shade accuracy. Temptalia’s photos are closer to reality. Her natural lip color is a bit different from mine, but I still get a better idea of lipstick shades from her. 

For what it’s worth, I’ve seen (in person) Tropicalia and Apricult on the same person: a friend who owns both shades and compared them by wearing one on half her mouth and one on the other half. In person, Apricult is much brighter and warmer—more of an orange-toned pink coral, almost neon. Tropicalia is definitely more pink toned, with less orange undertone. 

I hope you can find a Tropicalia swatch!

I think some of these shades are duplicates from the larger palettes, I'm curious if these are the same formula?  I heard her minis were midgrade compared to the larger palettes which contain her special formula.

The single eyeshadows were $25 for 1.1g and the packaging for the new minis seem to show each containing 1g x 5 which makes it a pretty good deal if accurate.

@ChristalM girl you're not alone!  i was all "place order!" as soon as I saw that post from @SportyGirly125 earlier.  I think it was around 4am local time?  Either way PMG totally worth it and I can't wait to get my mitts on that thing! 😄

The little plastic case feels surprisingly protective, certainly easier to carrier around then the tri-fold six pans (the design of those irk me so much!). Think of it as in investment in keeping your big palettes safe and sound at home!
