@Sunnysmom, that's very reassuring! I heard that the foundation is intended to be applied like moisturizer (presumably a thin layer, building where needed), and that it applies well with fingers. Glad it looks pretty, too!!

Oh that’s very good to know thanks @TraceyEB ! I didn’t catch that. Absolutely makes sense. It did perform great I have to say! Looked good all day! May have to reconsider my no buy for more foundations etc on it. Lol lol

@TraceyEB Yes I know you will find a good color match. I thought I’d be a 5 at first or 7 maybe so I see how you would be at least a 5 or 6! I love the new Chanel still too, great formula I hope they keep!  I am anxious to try the Pat today and see how it looks and feels. First impression I felt like it caught my little feathery cheek fluff! 😱🤣But it did feel very light and nice! Keep us posted too as you try it. @blackkitty2014 you too doll! 💞

I am so glad that was helpful! I would definitely wait for swatches, it's great that they have that many shades, but it can get overwhelming and you never know how the shades will look in real life. I would have expected L4 to look peachier, but it was fairly neutral.

@Cyncynn Thx you for your review.  It looks really good on you.  I want to try this but looks liked every brand has a new foundation comes out at the same time.  Decision! Decision!

For holiday 2019 - Mothership quads, from Really Ree. There will also be a Mothership VI called Midnight Sun (part of which is visible in the last photo) and a few of the Mattetrance lipsticks in the colored packaging in Elson and Omi.

I will skip these quads. The central one is the most interesting to me, but I'm so tired of golds in Pat's palettes... She always put at least one gold pan in every palette she releases and at this point they all look the same. A gold pan in a quad is a waste of space. 

The big palette seems too similar to Mothership V, so I bet it's not the Midnight Sun. I will purchase it if it doesn't have more than 1 gold pan! 🙂

I like the packaging a lot for those quads. It doesn't look as bulky as the 6 pan palettes.

@Mochapj, No, they wouldn't do that to us hopefully. All I have scheduled the rest of this year is Iceland and I don't forsee shopping for Pat McGrath products there😟

@Luvstravel  I like that it looks like they only contain her ‘special’ shades (the baked pigment ones)

i just hope they are released here; when I re-read the post on Really Ree, it sounds like they might be exclusive to the UK 😢

@RGbrown Agreed. Hopefully the other half of the palette is more exciting. 

She’s already done red, blue, green and orangey themed palettes, I’m trying to figure out what kind of colour story a midnight sun would be... silver? yellow?

I'm a little stumped on the theme too. Midnight sounds dark, mysterious...not sure what a midnight sun would represent though. It doesn't look bright and warm so far...but I'm not really catching anything cool or icy either. So far it just looks...beige 😐

@RGbrown  @Mochapj  If the palette’s name refers to constant arctic circle sunlight (where the sun doesn’t set for 6 months), then I also hope there are some deeper sunsetty shades in this palette, and maybe an icy blue. But something tells me Pat wouldn’t go so literal with a reference. 😄 I’m very intrigued though!

The new line officially drops on the 26th! The promo email today had a section at the bottom that gave the date but for the life of me I can not figure out how to post the image. But we have an actual date now!
