I recently purchased the new Luxe Trance Rouge lipstick in Sedition.  

Pros:  It is not in that tiresome glitter fest packaging.

Cons: Everything else.

How can I describe it accurately?  It is like a dry spackle that has been sitting out unloved for months.  I am not using hyperbole when I say this might be the most unpleasant formula I have ever tried.  

The last lipstick I bought was the matte in McMenamy.  I returned it because it was patchy.  I am over the PMG brand.

i found the outside of the lipstick bullet looked really powdery but on the lips I didn't think it felt any differently than the lipsticks she released in Lust004.

After a long day of running errands (Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are fully stocked again, yay!) I come home to the my new favoritest thing: LuxeTrance Sedition! I had to put it on immediately! I am not wearing anything on my face other than moisturizer, heck I even left on my glasses, I HAD TO SHOW HOW GORGEOUS THIS LIPSTICK IS! I have been wearing it for 15 minutes, even drank a whole bottle of water, and this is how the lipstick looks:

 Yes, it transferred a lot on my bottle, but I'm okay with that because this is a super creamy formula on my lips. I am not getting any dry down, it still looks very glossy and feels moisturizing. I am a habitual lip licker, and it is holding strong save for right at the center a little bit, but I could touch that up easily. I did no prep on my lips, so my lips weren't perfectly smooth when applied, and yet it isn't sticking to any rough spots that I can detest. I am so getting all of the other reds, although I can't imagine a shade prettier than this one, it is my dream shade of deep red. Le sigh, I ❤️ this 💄, major 💋😘 to #PatMcGrath!

Thanks @mrsbaine! I am so excited to get my mitts on more from the LuxeTrance line! I hope the lip liners are just as good, although this formula hasn't bled outside my lipline so far, which is rare for deep reds, at least on me.

Follow up swatch: one hour (and one workout later), no reapplication and another bottle of water consumed, and this is how the lipstick wore; excuse the hair and ruddy complexion, but I honestly love how it looks even when I am literally a hot mess!

Thanks @Mochapj! I have been loving your swatches as well! Wouldn't that be a great campaign for the brand's on sephora, to cull all the swatches and turn them into a collage, call it "Real Beauty" or some such? We're already free walking, taking billboards the way we fangirl these products 🤣

@sabrinas Those are both beautiful! Thanks for the pics; you all are killing me. Strangely enough, they look better on you than they do swatched . . . not sure if it's the lighting or what (they seem too opaque for your lip shade to make a difference), but they look slightly darker/more muted. Great red. (Random: I saw your pic/face and thought, "Why does she look familiar?" Clearly from here, but it must have been something of interest. Then I remembered—Pump N' Volume. I think, anyway.)

I love them both!! They definitely are creamier than the matte trance but I agree that they dry down a bit matte. Theyre gorgeous tho!! Get some 😉 @niki172

So I received my first PAT lipstick. I must say I like it more that I thought I would. I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I ordered Donatella because out of the 3 shades it was the only one I knew I would most likely wear - I'm not really into reds. The packaging is very pretty and I like that the actually lipstick has a heavier feel to it. The formula is definitelly matte, it's little harder to apply (little bit of tagging in my case) but it feels comfortable on even after couple hours. It pulls greyish/brownish on me I would like it to be more pinkier but I don't mind the 90' feel. I think I will order one more in pinkier color when the other colors come out. It looks pinkier here than in real life
