I've spoken to 6 people at the Rouge line since yesterday morning.

TL;DR:

I ordered 5am, paid by Paypal and selected Same Day shipping (because I'm going to be traveling soon and wanted to ensure I received it before I left) but Paypal changed it back to Rouge shipping during authorization.

I called at 9am when the line opened to try and get it sorted.  They said they couldn't fix it, so cancel my original order and placed a new one (still within the 'Same Day' timeframe eligibility)

When I called at 7pm last night because it still hadn't shipped, they told me it didn't get bumped to warehouse queue until 2pm which is after the '10:30am cutoff' even though I ordered at 9am.

Called again at 9pm to complain I hadn't received it - was told they couldn't refund my same day shipping until the item actually shipped.

Today, someone told me because of unprecedented orders for Metalmorphosis005, the warehouse was backed up and I could expect to receive my same day order tomorrow.


I am SO over Sephora.

My tracking number never updated, it still says "ready to go" but it arrived this morning! I bet yours will too!

These are so beautiful and I was lucky enough to get a shot with good natural light. Bronze (2nd from left) and copper are so close. I can see a difference when they're side by side but I'm not sure I could identify one without the other right next to it.

A word of caution: do not flip the creams upside down - they will fall out of the pan. I knew my copper was loose because it got all over the mirror. When I tried to clean the mirror, it fell out. I was able to get it back in with just a small gouge to the left side, but I nearly had a heart attack when it happened. I flipped the silver in my hand to test if the others would fall out and the same thing happened. I'm not brave enough to test the rest so my sample size of 2 is the best I can do lol

I don't have time to play with them today since I have plans this afternoon but if I get some decent swatches, I'll share tomorrow.

I was able to get the Everything Kit this morning! WOO!

One question, did anyone notice this review discrepency? The product "button" (preview listing before you click into the product, if that makes sense) reads as 5/5 stars and so does the top of the product page, but the real reviews read differently. Is this a glitch? Seems misleading to me... I mean I bought it, duh, but it just stood out to me as strange.

What do you think?

I noticed that the other day but the discrepancy was different. Up top it had 2 stars but the person reviewing had good things to say... can't recall the number of stars given... it was 4 or 5

@sabrinas Thank you for posting this video. It was definitely one of the most helpful videos I've seen on the Metalmorphosis kit so far. Hopefully the silver and gold pigments will be different than the gold and silver pigments that I already own (from a different company). I'm also hoping that the bronze and copper will look different enough on my skin tone to further justify my purchase and only getting a few hours of sleep.

Thanks so much for sharing this @sabrinas! This video was beyond helpful! I'm still super torn though. The cost of this was so high, I'm almost wondering if I should just get that mixing liquid and some MAC pigments and call it a day :x
