Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

I already have the Filmstar bronze & glow palette but looking into some of her other products.

Does anyone have any experiences they would like to share esp with her Light Wonder Foundation, her blush and the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder? I'm interested in getting these three things but still on the fence about taking the plunge! 

Please let me know, many BTers opinions have helped me out on products before 😄 Thanks in advance!

@seaofcowards Thanks for the heads up I hadn't seen those yet!!! I love the color of american sweetheart but the kissing formula is my least favorite formula of her 3 lipsticks. English beauty is super pretty too so maybe i'll pick up that one since matte revolution is excellent!

The new CT lipsticks are up - American Sweetheart, English Beauty, and Shanghai Nights - along with the Lip Masterclass set which includes all 3 with a matching pencil and gloss.

Swatches of all four five minute face palettes. I do think that they show up better on my face than swatches but the newest palette has very light bronzer and blush. Sorry the lighting isn't great I can try to take some in natural light tomorrow if anyone wants

I got my smokey palette today! It is the same quality as the others, all the powders are very creamy! The bronzer is very very light though and the blushes are fairly light as well. I'm usually on the light side of medium but I recently got back from a trip so I'm a solid medium rightnow and the bronzer definitely wouldn't show up at all. I didn't already own the gold bar though so I'm excited for that and I like the shadow colors!!!

I've only heard great things about her line and especially her eyeshadows but I did hear the big Instant Eye Palette, not the new one with the Bar of Gold highlighter, has a different formula and people aren't crazy about it.  Reviews are that it can be dry and patchy unlike her other palettes that are creamy and blend really well.  I'm really surprised that Sephora doesn't carry her line because they have Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs and Burberry.  Also, Charlotte Tilbury created Tom Ford's makeup line!

@cara80 I heard the same thing - I was planning on getting her new eyeshadow palette but I heard that some of the matte shades were not very creamy and then I saw they launched the new 5 minute face and went with that instead! Also I agree Charlotte Tilbury is like my number one brand I wish sephora carried!

@Kim888 @cara80 I have swatches just a few posts below of the new Instant Eye palette and I shared some of my first impressions (noting that the mattes seemed particularly dry).

After wearing it a couple times, I can say that with a primer, I actually haven't had issues with wearing the palette and that it wears just fine on my eyes (although a couple of the mattes are on the sheerer side - not necessarily a bad thing). But it certainly didn't swatch well. The shimmers were more impressive. 

mrsbaine shared her thoughts (and a look or two with the palette) although she ended up returning it.

Thanks for your thoughts - its good to hear that those matte shades can work with a good primer! I think I saw her swatches and I watched Tarababyz on youtube do some swatches as well and she said the same thing but agreed its really hard to tell just from a swatch some things just don't swatch well!

I'm on the Beautylish website and pretty stoked that the model used is Asian, makes me want it even more! I hope Charlotte does a tutorial with the same model soon so i can learn to do this smoky eye on myself hehe

Has anyone heard whether this will be available at Charlotte Tilbury direct? I'd rather buy it there without duties and the currency conversion...

ETA: CT customer service responded to me 🙂 The palette will be available from CT direct eventually, but they don't have an ETA. You can sign up to be notified when it launches though (there's a link - the usual CT direct URL with /us/instant-look-in-a-palette-smokey-eye.html and you can substitute the /us/ for /ca/ if you're in Canada.)

I was just as surprised when I received this! Could it really be a 4th Instant Look in a Palette? Beautylish is selling her latest, Beauty Glow, and I think they would be more explicit when restocking her Instant Eyes in a Palette (available on CT on Oct. 5). Could it have anything to do with CT's early access to some holiday items? It all leads me back to another Instant Look in a Palette...

I hope it's another 5-minute palette! I love those! Missed out on Dolce Vita but have all the other ones.
