@TraceyEB I’m very glad to see the stores did this because it just didn’t seem fair for them to not have any quantities to sell once their online blew through their inventory! ( It does look like I may have a good chance of getting  Brun Rose as I grabbed it this am and it hasn’t been cancelled yet, but who knows. Couldn’t resist it from all the photos! Oof. 🥹)

If anyone is looking for the Rouge Noir lipstick, Macy's has them online. Run!! More of this collection might be restocked online as the nearest Macy's to me was just getting the collection in this week. For those who want to temper the rich Rouge Noir shade, Rouge Coco Gloss in 119 Bourgeoisie was suggested by a Chanel MUA.

Good idea with the gloss @TraceyEB ! I used one of the new Ilia’s and that was pretty too! Has more red in it.

@TraceyEB - No, not this time.  These just aren't my colors. 🙁  What about you?

Edit:  Tracey, I watched Lexi's review/swatches this morning.  I really like the lipstick in Irresistible (? the mauve-colored one).  It's sold out on Chanel's site, but I might check around for it.

I also like the gray single eye shadow.  Lexi compared it and the other single to colors in the Viseart Cashmere palette, which I have.  They both are very close matches, so I can save the $$.

Do you think @Sunnysmom will get the burgundy lipstick?  That color is gorgeous and right up her alley!

@Titian06, I pre-ordered most of the collection. While I don't gravitate towards vibrant pinks, I can wear dark burgundies and reds, and as a fan of Chanel's Rouge Noir, the collection appeals! I would be surprised if @Sunnysmom didn't pick up the Rouge Noir lipstick! The lipstick 357 Irreverente is popular and looks gorgeous. You might want to keep an eye out for the lipstick at Ulta (the collection hasn't arrived there yet) or a restock on Bloomingdale's website. Glad you have dupes of the single eyeshadow shades! As you said, money saved!

So predictable eh @TraceyEB @Titian06 ?! 😂 I was pretty excited to see this collection as you have correctly surmised! 🤣❤️ (Having a little bit of a time getting on BIC too, ugh!)

I love a good clean eye against a moody lip too. Seems more winter-like a bit maybe? ! Always keeping us guessing those crazy kids. Titian you may be surprised if you tried the Noir lip and blotted it or mixed it with another lighter pinky red. It’s very nice! I mixed both the Noir Laque with the 367 lip and other older shades with Noir lip 387, blotted them down and they turn out lighter and really good, wearable. First coat is lighter and builds up with more. Just an idea if you got tempted. 🙃 So many new things to come though, I get that! 

Some quick swatches. Cute doesn’t show up well on my arm so I didn’t do it. Same formula as other highlighter sticks with some small sparkley pink to it and I always like them. Aptly named. 😊

I did not get the shadows as I’m pretty sure I can come close with other Chanel I have and I think @blackkitty2014 smartly mentioned Chantecaille being dupes for 267. I also really like wearing these lip colors with a bit cooler eye like those in the Brun et Rose Tweed eye quad. Works well.

The Confidence quad is wonderful! The best flush that melts into the skin; they killed it imo. I also used the Profond cheek underneath and loved that. Thoughtful pinks and more neutral mid-shade plus a highlighter that all works so well for eyes and cheeks. Sometimes pinks are tricky on my eyes so I probably won’t but definitely will for the highlighter shade. This is the color palette I hoped for last year tho I love that one as well for summer. The lips are lovely. 367 is the best shade of pink with red, and with intensity but not too much . I’m crazy about it. I’m sure those of you that got 357 will really like it. The Noirs both are quite purple and I love them but I do wish they had a little more red to them. I feel like older Noir was more red-based. I should have compared old to new but I know others have done so on IG. As mentioned, mixing Noir with 367 or other reds does the trick for me as my lips are rather pale. For those of you lucky ones with more pigmented lips I’m sure they won’t appear as purple. ☺️  Lips are the same smooth formula with Noir being a little bit patchier yet it’s still smooth and evens out nicely. 

Edit to add comparison of previous Noir allure 109 and new Noir velvet 387. The new Noir is more cool, purple-based and 109 is more neutral, warmer.

@Sunnysmom, thank you for your photos, swatches, and thoughtful observations on eyeshadows that complement a Rouge Noir lip and tempering the dark lip shade. I'll be trying the tweed palette you mentioned! I was curious about how Rouge Noir lipsticks 387 and 109 compared as I have 109 but haven't seen a comparison of the two. Appreciate your description of how they differ! I appreciated seeing 367, too. I ordered three and not 367. It looked too hot pink but your swatch looks more raspberry. What shade does it look like on the lips? My Eye and Cheek Palette and Brun Rose eyeshadow single have arrived; I'm waiting for my Macy's counter order to ship (taps foot).

Thanks @TraceyEB , excited to see yours and hear your thoughts ! It’s so pretty! 367 is definitely more raspberry on and my lips are quite pale as mentioned. It’s definitely raspberry on the lip and with some good red to it too. I was relieved and also a bit surprised it wasn’t a hot pink! 🤣 i have a feeling you would love it considering how similar we are with berries and raspberries. 🥰 Do we have older Noir lips? I need to look. Very old yes. I am so excited for your goodies! The Brun Rose looks so terrific. I probably neeeeed it if it shows up tho I am really resisting! 😂 I know @Winthrop44 loves hers. Telling myself I have been behaving quite decently with all the other spring collections and other stuff which is in reality is probably not that smart nor noble. 🙃

@Sunnysmom, thanks for letting me know more about 367's raspberry shade. It's so hard to guess when I can't see  in the product in person. The lipsticks 367 and 377 seem to be available. I dug around my collection for the previous rouge noir releases; I have the Rouge Noir lipstick 109, a Rouge Obscur Velvet Extreme lipstick 130 (it has more red), a Rouge Noir 857 Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadsow in a pot, and I had a Stylo et Contour in Rouge Noir but it dried out. I felt like a curator going through a museum, knowing I had specific pieces to pull! I'm also trying to be good re: Spring releases, too. Thankfully, I had a gift certificate to use towards part of the Rouge Noir collection.

I loved your comment about being a curator @TraceyEB ! Yes to a makeup curator! 🥰 I am going to do a deep dive tomorrow too because now I’m curious. It’s fun to revisit our old friends and a good reminder to use them! I kept my original Vamp forever just for the sake of it but it may be gone now, boo! Yes I think 367 is a pretty great shade. On its own or mixing it’s a winner. I almost didn’t try it and I’m very glad I did now. I couldn’t get into my store and see anything right away. The next collection should be interesting. Either gonna be very cool or way too tricky and I’ll pass on a shadow or the highlighter! 🥶 💞
