@Winthrop44, I miss the original formula, too. With that said, I've purchased an awful lot of Chanel blush outside this line this year! Let us know what you think about the reformulated blush if/when you have a chance to try them!

Maria posted that Chanel Joues Contraste Blush has been reformulated. They're showing as new on Chanel US and at retailers that sell Chanel like Nordstrom and Macy's.

@Sunnysmom, I think they were reformulated two years ago. I'm interested to learn what's different. Some influencers note that talc has been removed from the ingredient list.

Oh that makes sense @TraceyEB . I’ll be interested to see too. It takes me so long to go through my powder blushes I can’t imagine replacing a lot of mine so I’m sure I won’t!

I purchased two gift sets this year:

• Ultimate Allure - small bag, Noir Allure Mascara, and Rouge Allure L'Extrait in 854; and
• Bases Covered - large bag, La Mousse Cleanser and Hydra Beauty Micro Crème.

I opened the Ultimate Allure gift set and was very impressed with the bag. It's study, has soft white fluffy material with silver snow-evoking threads on the outside, it has a plastic-like lining on the inside, and a beautiful snowflake charm made up of Chanel Cs on the zipper. It's one of the best gift set bags Chanel has released, IMO. My large gift set was beautifully wrapped by my Macy's SA, so it's going under the tree.

@TraceyEB, I like your strategy - one set of treats to play with now and another to keep under the tree for another day!  The Rouge Allure L'Extrait is a beautiful color! 😍

@itsfi, I had to peek at one of the bags, especially a snowy-themed one like this! But yes, one for now and one for later is satisfying! The L'Extrait lipstick is a beautiful brightening red!

Of course you had to take a peek @TraceyEB! All part of a quality control inspection, to make sure it arrived intact! 😉 Chanel always does such beautiful work with their holiday collections.
