@TraceyEB Thanks. Have you figured out yet whether or not this Harrods collaboration will be coming to all countries and serve as the holiday collection everywhere, or if there will be a separate holiday collection elsewhere?  I’m kind of confused about that.

@Winthrop44, I confirmed with my Canadian MUA that the "Harrods" collection is Chanel's holiday collection and is launching in Canada on Oct 16. Now to confirm with our contacts in the US.

I picked up a few of the new lip shades with some Ulta rewards and only had to “pay” for one! Woohoo! That was fun and glad I was hoarding them for awhile! 🤣  I do like this formula and don’t find these shades too drying. I did apply a tinted balm over them after a bit. 228 appears warmer in my pic than it really is. It’s more neutral irl and on. 224 and 226 are both cool shades and very pretty.

Chanel announces new fragrance and beauty president.

I was on a business trip to Baltimore Harbor East and my hotel was just next to the Chanel beauty boutique. The closest to me and it’s an hour away and you have to pay for parking normally.  So I got to finally try on and buy the Chanel Sublimage L’Essence De Teint foundation!  I also purchased the Baume Essentiel in Scintillement, which is Mermaids Kiss renamed, but I didn’t already own it and the sparkles are beautiful.  

I can see why people love their SAs. My SA was Rana and she gave me an amazing collection of samples to try, and took her time picking them out even though someone walked into the store while she was choosing them.  It makes you feel very special. 

 

Here is my current collection of Chanel foundations. 😁. Oddly, the No1 is in shade B30, the Sublimage le Teint original in B20, and the best color by far in the Sublimage L’Essence le Teint was BR22.  The B20 was probably always too light, maybe I purchased it during the winter.  The No1 and original le Teint are both well over two years old, I’m the queen of using makeup past it’s recommended “good for” date, but I probably need to stop using the original “le Teint”, which is beautiful but also pretty heavy.

I’ll let you know if I like the No1 or the Sublimage L’Essence de Teint more.

Also, they didn’t have the new blushes in stock yet as of yesterday. They did have the beautiful new lipsticks, but I didn’t buy one.
