Ugg @TraceyEB so true! I’ve been distracted this week with the new goodies in Nordstrom beauty pop up shop 😱. Fun lines not in a lot of other stores etc so it’s been good to see colors and textures up close! And @blackkitty2014 comments spot on also with the other new stuff upcoming! We can’t seem to catch a break. Lol. Not that any of us are trying very hard 😳😊

@Sunnysmom, I am completely envious that you have a Nordstrom beauty pop-up shop!! What items caught your attention? I really miss being having beauty counters to linger around as I like to see products, displays, etc. in person from time to time.  I'm looking forward to summer collections.

@TraceyEB I know me too. I love roaming and looking at everything! The shop is very cool with a great variation of clean makeup and wellness items. Lines I like are: Clove + Hallow lips ( I have some and love em), Lily Lolo shadows (that don’t make me itch lol), Cupid and Psyche lips ( kind of like Ilia lip conditioners but with more pigment and fun but wearable shades), Axiology lips ( good to see them in person and I think the shades have been redone so not like old ones from past on Sephora), Alima great shadows (hadn’t seen these in person before), Kosas lips ( which I always rave about to u guys! Lol), Ikura all over colour pot( pricey but very good !), Vintner’s Daughter oil, and lastly this innovative genius nail polish holder! Little plastic holder that goes on fingers and holds bottle in it so you can apply easier. Someone had great idea there! Got several for holiday gifties even! 😊 Let me know if you want to see any swatches of lip and eye stuff I got etc. Happy to! More lines are online I noticed but they’re also in other boutiques now - RMS etc. Yea Nordstrom!

@Sunnysmom, Lots of new mixed with known brands and products. Love the curiosity to explore such a broad range of brands to see what intrigues! Adore finding holiday gifts at events like this! Really appreciate the summary of what you saw and liked!!

@TraceyEB Any time. It is a fun way to see so many new things and also glad so many other shops are doing the same. Anthro etc.

@TraceyEB Don’t worry! Tom Ford will keep you busy in April. 😂 then Chanel in May. Lots of neutral eyeshadow this coming seasons. I hope I can pass all the neutral palettes 😂😍🤣

Not a new new but somehow I totally forgot about Velvet Extreme. I order 9 pan 2nd edition palette last week and Epitome one of the 2 samples. I didn’t bother to try until today.

I have to say I quite like it. It is not a red on me. It is a blue based pink. I might have to buy 1 or 2 of this formula for scientific purposes 😉

@Sunnysmom I went back a bunch of pages for your swatches but for some reasons I couldn’t post. Does extreme look red or dark plum on you? It looks red on your swatch but on some YouTube video it looks liked deep plum. I’m so confused. Do you have impressive by any chance?

p@blackkitty2014 Extreme is dark red on me but I can see how it looks like dark plum or burgundy tone also. I swatched it fast here against my fav Unique (bec I love formula more) to the left which you can see looks like more of a mix of dark red and pinky plum at least on me. But Extreme is dark red on my more pale lips. Hope this helps?! 💋Left- Chanel Unique, Right- Extreme

@blackkitty2014 I know! You’re welcome I think?! Lol. So many pretty reds and berries! They are definitely my weakness. But as Tracey said Chanel doesn’t really count bec it’s just a given! Nothing to decide. lol. Just. Do. It. ☺️

@blackkitty2014, that pink is so very pretty on you! A perfect spring lipstick! I have 3 Velvet Extreme lipsticks but none in this shade. Definitely going to try on when I am at a counter next.

@blackkitty2014, I was mistaken. I only have 1 Velvet Extreme in the shade Modern (a pinky brown). I have my eye on Extreme and Epitome. I was counting Rouge Allure Velvet Mattes yesterday (I have Rouge Feu, Imperial, and Infrarose).

@TraceyEB I hate that Chanel lipstick sample is on a card. I really like the color and formula. I might use it for one or 2 times and throw it away and buy the full-size. I’m eyeing on Epitome, Extreme and Eternal. Sigh! I’m not supposed to buy anymore lipstick 😂🤪😂
