Went to my local Shoppers today (in Wpg) and was told Chanel's Neapolis collection was available for sale . I picked up the Verderame cream shadow, both eyeliners, and the Rosa Tempera lip balm/powder duo. I was told the blush and eyeshadow palette will NOT be in until February. So, if you can take advantage of the seniors discount or would like bonus points, suggest calling your local Shoppers Beauty Boutique.

Checked out the Neapolis collection this morning

Up top is the 9 pan Affresco palette, then the Verdrame ombré premiere, Mare Chiaro and Nero Vulcanico Stylo Yeux and then below the Foschia Rosa blush.

Having swatched it, I think the pink shade in the palette is an ombré premiere powder shade (Flesh or Rose Synthetique?). The blue seems different than the shades in Road Movie (to me) as it's much more shimmery. The green does seem similar to the green from the Empreinte du Desert quad, but I had to remove it before I could compare it to my quad.

admittedly when I first saw the sneak previews of the promo images I thought the colour story was kind of retro and dated but after swatching the collection I can see how beautiful and fresh it is when paired together.

'Beautiful' and 'fresh' are good descriptors for the collection, @Mochapj. The promo images showed me how wearable the vibrant (and pastel) shades can be, and the collection story is cohesive. I think that's been lacking at times. The eyeshadow palette would be lovely for traveling.

Wow @Mochapj!!! Would i be disappointed if i order the palette with Chanel direct (ahem i need some enabling here ;)) Did you swatch the lip powder? What the blue shade next to the blush?  Is that the cream eyeshadow?

This may well be the palette to have, @blackkitty2014! It will be mine on launch day.

@blackkitty2014 I don't think you'd be disappointed in the quality of the palette; the pigmentation is quite good.

The 6 outer shades of the palette are sort of basic IMO, so I'm sure we all have dupes of them already.  The blue and green are quite stunning, though.

I did not get a chance to swatch the lip powders - I wasn't interested in them, but my counter also didn't have testers of them to try.

The deep blue next to the thin eyeliner swatches is the Verderame Ombre Premiere cream.

@Mochapj, would love to see it worn alone and under the vibrant shades in the palette. I'm not sure I can pull it off, though.

@TraceyEB I think it will be versatile. The tester seemed creamier than the other ombré premieres I own (it was more like an a actual cream product than powder/cream hybrid) and I think it would sheer to a beautiful teal.

Thanks for the encouragement, @Mochapj! I'll ask to have Verderame applied it at the counter. Interesting that it may be more creamy than the current Ombre Premiere formula.

Stopped into Shoppers today to inquire about the Neapolis launch. Spied a product page that showed approx 5 shades in the eyeshadow palette linked to shades in other Chanel palettes and shadow singles. For example, the gold shade was linked to Antique Bronze eyeshadow single; the blue linked to a blue in Road Movie, etc. I hope they are complementary shades (or Spring versions of the shades) and not exact dupes.

The Bay had a small display of the collection out for pre-order though this location will NOT have the eyeshadow palette. The MUA told me only 10 Bay Stores will be getting the eyeshadow palette.

A few comparisons from Temptalia They don’t seem like exact dupes, so I wonder if what you saw in the book was their version of, ‘if you don’t have this, use this instead...’

Thanks for posting comparison swatches. I'm starting to think I saw the " these shades are close" suggestions. That the shades are lighter in the palette adds to the versatility of this palette with other releases.
