The Bobbi Brown thread. Bobbi Brown was the first brand that got me excited about makeup. So I'll always have a soft spot for BB. And now Sephora has the amazing 25 year year palette.
Note, the holiday lip shade is sold out on Nordstrom. I'm going to be watching for it on Sephora's site.
London.
These apply better than they swatch. They swatch patchier than the other 2 palettes. And the lighter shades blend a little into my skin. It is a pretty palette though!
I purchased this recently after having it applied and chose it for being so different to the shades I normally wear. The peach shade stands out on my coloring however I wish the palette had a medium brown or taupe-y shade to finish the look. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this palette and adore the artwork (I may be biased, I'm Canadian). I'm not sure how well this collection is selling but I would expect some will flow to the CCOs, making them more affordable. (I bought mine at a discount.)
@TraceyEB I like this palette too. It applies better on me than it swatches. I'm super happy with these, they are just so easy and perfect for everyday. I agree that a medium shade would be great.
The packaging is so stunning.
Glad to hear you're pleased with them. The packaging is stunning - I didn't appreciate how much until I saw them in person. When I heard people ask if there was a change in formula because the shadows are so pigmented compared to previous years, I knew I would buy one of these palettes.
Bobbi has put out some of her best products this year. I hope the trend continues.
Hi! Does anyone know what the birthday gift on the Bobbi Brown website is?
@mc10588 i got a code for 15% off next purchase for birthday from bobbi brown direct.
Thank you!
Pretty sure Megan will have awesome swatches soon. Here is London palette look. You can tell I'm having fun with the city collection. Excuse the weird angle.
I am loving your blush!!!
Looks great on you! I have this palette, too,and love showcasing the peach shade and lining the eyes with the blue shade (wet) going over the top lash line with the new long-wear liquid liner in blue sparkle (I've given up on the gel liner pots).
This looks so much more wearable than it does in the palette. I was wondering if I could wear "greys" but your swatches show more wearable shades. If I ipicked up a second palette via CCO, this would be it.
Love your swatches!
So excited to see this thread! Bobbi Brown is a bit out of my price range, but after getting a few items at the Cosmetics Company Outlet this summer I am completely hooked. The gel eyeliners are gorgeous!
I purchased the Paris City Collection palette, and it is absolutely beautiful. I'm seriously considering purchasing the New York or (and?) London palettes as well. Any chance that these are going to be sold in Sephora this winter?
Wow, thanks! Will do.
