Hello there, ladies and gents!
Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:
"What's on your plate?"
The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!
For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.
Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.
For lunch today, I had:
-Brown rice
-Steamed egg
-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper
-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

@Ispend2much6 The steak was delicious! What I think I was experiencing was a drop in my glycogen stores which resulted in me not retaining enough water. Once I added a little more salt and water I was good.
I most certainly haven’t been eating the amount of sugar my body is used to so that could also have played a part. I did experience a bit of shaking before one of my meals cause I waited too long and a slight headache on day two. nothing too extreme but enough to make me cranky. I felt great today though! Today was also a higher carb day (75g) so it was more comfortable. We’ll see what tomorrow brings. 😄

@Ispend2much6 Yes they are! It’s incredible how we adapt so well and so quickly to survive whatever conditions were thrust into. Today was good. No headaches, no shaking. My workouts are suffering a bit. I definitely feel the lack of energy lifting weights and doing anything intense so I’ve slowed down there.
@blackkitty2014 Yeah, high fat meals are super delicious! Not suffering in the flavour department😊
@CookieGirl1 It makes me drool! I’ve been known to sit there and eat the whole pan! 😄 especially with tumeric and chilies!
Thank goodness it’s on the low carb list! Most of my favorite foods aren’t on it. Sweet potatoes are on my carb cycling day!
@Ispend2much6 This is my first time trying to make a matcha mochi cake. I made the icing and have another pan in addition to the Bundt one but thought it was too sweet. Next time I won’t put as much sugar. The consistency was perfect.

@SportyGirly125 Thanks for the tag! It looks really delicious! Whose recipe did you use? Mine was also too sweet; can't remember if I mentioned that. The rest of my family didn't think so.
@Ispend2much6 I used 2 different tutorials. One from YouTube and another from online and then customized it.
