I’ve wanted to start this for so long but never got around to it. Back in the day I think I had a similar thread and I wanted to bring it back.

Do you love anything out of the norm: the strange, the unusual, and the mysterious? Anything relating to the supernatural, the paranormal and mystical? Then this thread is for you! A place to discuss anything and everything about the unknown, the occult, legends and theories… anything goes!

@mermadelove  it was surely a strange time thats for sure.  I think because my parents believed in that kind of stuff eventually helped me understand it too.  And my husband now being a doctor as well believes in this. I think he started to sense something was really off when my dog refused to go into my room and would sit outside the door no matter how much we begged him with all his favorite treats!  I would only see the shadowy figure near my bed when i was ready to fall asleep! In the morning everything was fine .. carrying on with studies/friends/family; no change in emotions other than for being scared to sleep..    the weirdest of all was how literally it stopped the day my parents held their prayers and i was half the world around and had no idea about it.    Good riddance!

@kromance I think the fact that you were halfway around the world and didn’t;t know, but felt the effects of the prayer circle immediately is the BEST PART!!!! Thanks for sharing that amazing story!!!!

That was really riveting to read, thank you for sharing your story @kromance ❤️ I can’t imagine how heavy that weight must have felt on you. I’m so glad that you had such love and so many people praying on your behalf, I’m so happy that this is no longer something you have to live with.

Yes- its hard to share it on an internet platform such as this because not everyone is going to have the same belief systems you know?  I don't even think of it anymore. The higher power/ the source/universe /God, whatever it may be for you - is a huge part of my life. I went from someone that did not believe in these type of things to someone that does! Somethings exist beyond our means of understanding! Hugs to you guys 🙂

I hear you @kromance! For me it’s too big to ignore that there is a greater power, but I also understand that others disagree and we all have different beliefs. It’s nice to know that there are others with common beliefs though, so I always appreciate others sharing to keep the communication open! Hugs to you too, and happy holidays ❤️

That is heavy stuff. I'm glad you felt like you were able to tell us about it... these things can be so hard to talk about to anyone. I'm glad your mom believed you, too. ❤️

@veronika23Thanks "V!"  There definitely were some pretty crazy things happening.  You know, I  just realized, I will never have the cool "letter" nickname; calling someone "I" just doesn't have the same ring as "T" or "V."  hehe  That's okay.

@bakeamuffin  Everyone does have times in their life when it takes bravery to get up and keep on going; getting "stuck" and staying in a bad place doesn't do anyone any good.

@Ispend2much6   Thank you so much for sharing.  Haring stories like these are giving me renewed hope and faith, knowing that God/dess/ The Universe/All That is - however you define Source is always with us and loving us and caring for us regardless of what we see in the world. I've gotten more from BIC than I ever imagined possible. Just last week I was saying I felt like I needed to connect with more magic in my life and @veronika23  created this thread ( Thanks, V!!!)  and so many people have responded with so many stories that it is truly heart and soul healing. Thanks again, @Ispend2much6  and to everyone who has shared their stories and to all of those who have been moved by what they've read.

@mermadelove do you know what’s so funny? I was hesitant to join the BIC in fear of not being good enough and honestly thought it would be a bunch of superficial snobs 😂😂 I never though that the people here would be so open minded and welcoming. I’m loving his thread too, and all of the magic it has allowed us to share with each other. Knowing that others can feel it to, and that others can see beneath the surface of what we’re shown, is relieving and comforting ❤️

@bakeamuffin @Tamara76  I shouldn't be at all surprised by how many of us IMMEDIATELY jumped to this thread when @veronika23 started it, but it was seriously the best holiday gift! Working full time and raising a child, even with a partner as many of you know, is a lot of work. Between all of that I just don't have the time to add anything else to my schedule. I seriously feel BIC has become one stop shopping for ALL of my needs! Between makeup, BIC book club and this thread, all of my bases are covered!!! LOLOLOLOL I am truly grateful to every single person in this community!!!!
