I’ve wanted to start this for so long but never got around to it. Back in the day I think I had a similar thread and I wanted to bring it back.

Do you love anything out of the norm: the strange, the unusual, and the mysterious? Anything relating to the supernatural, the paranormal and mystical? Then this thread is for you! A place to discuss anything and everything about the unknown, the occult, legends and theories… anything goes!

@pixiedust2 It was a scary time for sure. The weirdest was that everything would be fine in the morning/daytime - all activities/school work would resume but come nightfall, I would see this shadow. I hated going to bed for the longest time.  

Did you guys ever do any sort of prayers in the house for your mother? It might have been residual fears/memories/entities of her past life that needed to move on. You never know..  I'm sending a big big hug and lots of love your way!!!!

Oh my god @kromance. That was frightening. I know that often entities will attach to adolescent girls (from what I’ve read/heard). I’m very happy that your parents were able to accept what you were telling them and support you and finally succeed in getting rid of it.  Wow

@kromance  I am SO SORRY that you had that experience, but very happy to hear that you had supportive people around you that took the right steps to get rid of that energy! I am sorry it took so long though. People end up getting locked up for being 'schizophrenic' sometimes when science cannot explain what is happening. SO happy for you that you had people who were open enough to understand exactly what was going on!!! Blessings to you!!

@mermadelove  some metal illness are considered spiritual emergencies when you look outside what is considered the "norm".  I had read a great article about it and now I can't find it 😞

Stan Grof wrote a book titled Spiritual Emergency too. One of his longtime proteges/peers was a colleague of mine and it was fascinating. Jungian psychs seem to make room for this kind of thing.

@veronika23. Definitely. We had a client at the New Age shop who was disturbingly psychic and had no filter. he was the sweetest individual I’ve ever met, but I think he made people uncomfortable with his level of vision. That coupled with his naive innocence made a lot of people uncomfortable. I mean he even freaked US out and we ran a NEW AGE/psychic shop!!!! But he seriously felt like it was his first lifetime on this planet and he could not fake anything or compartmentalize where/when it was ok and not ok to speak about certain things. He disappeared for a few years and now I see him wandering about town, homeless and likely medicated because his energy is so different. Labeled ‘crazy’ because he was too real for this world.

@mermadelove OMG, I would LOVE to have a conversation with you and @veronika23 about otherworldly things and all things beauty! This thread has been fascinating to read. Years ago, a friend and I explored spirituality--going to different churches, reading books about different religions and spiritualities, even learning a lot about energy healing and metaphysics. We had conversations about otherworldly things for hours on end, but unfortunately, we grew apart. So, I'm so happy to see this thread!

Yes that would be awesome! @txcatx  I'm happy to see a lot of people joining in!  I am somewhat reserved on certain topics around this stuff... mostly because of bad past experiences but I'm glad to see everything is going great! 🙂

hahahaha yeah that's I'm sure of @mermadelove!  @ZombieMetroAnt is convinced that I can read minds... It has known to happen.  I had one palm reader tell me some quite unique stuff around that... Oh you are most welcome! Guess it was the right time! 🙂  I hope he finds his way 😞

@veronika23. Yeah me too. It freaks people out. But then I reassure them that it’s just because I focus on psychic stuff more than they do and that they are psychic, too. They always look at me like I am crazy until I ask them if they’ve ever been thinking of someone they haven’t talked to in a while, only to get a phone call from them shortly thereafter. Or if they get a ‘gut feeling’ about something then talk themselves out of it, then kick themselves later. Then I ask them how many times that ‘gut feeling’ has been wrong. 99.9999999999999999999% of the time, that feeling is right. Then they aren’t as freaked out. LOL!!!

@mermadelove  I had a friend once that I was super in sync with.  He's truly special. We aren't friends anymore (just life happens) but I think about him often. Someone once told me this: People come into your life for a reason, season or a lifetime.  I think that's so true.  OMG yes!!! Always trust you gut!  Sometimes I feel bad for feeling a certain way but I can't help it if I feel something is off 😄

My dad is not into this sort of thing at all, but he and I do this kind of thing all the time. We'll go weeks without calling, then I'll randomly feel like I need to ring him up for some reason... and he'll answer and be like "oh good, you got my message!"

Lol! That’s REALLY funny considering......  My mum and I do that a lot too. It only took her 45 years o admit that she’s intuitive and an empath!!!!!
