I’ve wanted to start this for so long but never got around to it. Back in the day I think I had a similar thread and I wanted to bring it back.

Do you love anything out of the norm: the strange, the unusual, and the mysterious? Anything relating to the supernatural, the paranormal and mystical? Then this thread is for you! A place to discuss anything and everything about the unknown, the occult, legends and theories… anything goes!

I love that explanation @fieldsofclover because that is really in-line with how I feel as well. Like we have certain choices we can make but they're still finite with how many there really are and how they fit in with the path which we are already on, if that makes sense. And I'm definitely a "things happen for a reason" person. I strongly believe in purposes and that we all end up where we are supposed to be, one way or another.

@quspork Definitely! I still feel that "fate is a contact sport"... like, highest-and-best has a participatory requirement so I still have to keep showing up for Work... but things definitely hum along in the background so maybe I'm just destined to think that way 😂

@fieldsofclover @veronika23  THe choose your own adventure books!!! That is EXACTLY how I would explain to clients when I read tarot for them. YOu have SOME choice, but there are things that are set in stone. Loved those books as a kid-- except for the times I died no matter what I chose. 😐  Dude. Allow me my illusion of free will!!!! LOLOL

@veronika23 I think we do not have 100% free will. At all. I believe that we are co creators with the universe. One analogy I like to use is that the Universe gives us a palette that has certain specific colors of paint on it that we’re “stuck with,” and maybe even the type of canvas we use it on, but the picture we paint with what we’ve been given is up to us. Does that make sense?

@mermadelove  it totally does make sense... some people get plenty of paint while others have to make do with one color... I also think the universe will take some of it away. So despite your best efforts your picture will still be a hot mess... 😄 😄 😄 your path was prewritten.

@veronika23 I definitely think that not even counting 'otherworlds' , that there are so many realities in THIS world that regardless of what you think you are gonna make with your palette (eyeshaodw or otherwise 😉 LOL) that colliding realities impose on your plan. The Universe works in mysterious ways....ays......ays.....ays....!

I am an energy worker and find it so amazing that so many people on this forum have had these profound experiences and are willing to share them here. Like look at all these posts and familiar faces sharing their stories. I'm so grateful that we live in such an amazing time where spirituality can be celebrated and not hidden... Thanks veronika for creating this post so I can throw in a little woo woo while perusing my beauty obsessions 🙂

@melanito  That's so cool! This is the last place I thought I would meet a fellow energy worker! I do Reiki, crystal healing, sound healing, Angel/Spirit readings, tarot and also Integrated Crystal Healing (where I use all that and more). I used to do flower essence consultations and make elixirs, but now I only do that for myself really. I also use aromatherapy but not usually on clients, but I do make recommendations. I only see a couple of people now because I now have a different dy job but it still part of my daily life. Then there's the dreamtime work, but that's a conversation for another day, as I'm headed off to dreamland shortly!!!

@melanito  Welcome to the enchanted realm!!! We're all mad here! LOLOLOLOL! What kind of energy work do you do? I'm an energy worker too. ANd HEy did you know that Pacifica is now making roller ball perfumes with crystals in them??? @tsavorite  those may interest you too!!!! There's also a website called Sage Goddess that has ALL SORTS of health and beauty laced with intense magic!!

That's why I would hesitate to buy these.

@tsavorite @jozkid  I have totally popped the roller ball tops off of my Sage Goddess perfumes to get to the tumbled stones. I have a tiny little collection going and these are definitely destined for the same! 😄

@tsavorite   They are tiny tumbled stones. You can see the layer of peridot in this one. I love working with crystal healing energy!! ( Though the Sage Goddess ones are much better, they are 2-3 times more expensive!!)  *floats away chanting in a cloud of crystal infused perfume*
