Things are crazy now. I think we are all trying to stay healthy and maintain sanity as well. I thought I would start this thread so folks can check in and discuss how they're doing. I want all my BIC friends to be okay. I will kick this off with a first post. Take care of yourself lovelies.

I am in organ failure and everyday is a battle and some new normal to adjust to, and makeup + beauty is my escape. I hope we can all find solace and peace in our self love and self care rituals!

I started this thread and came back for a reason. BIC has been so glitchy but made it finally.

I miss you all. I had brain surgery to remove a large tumor May 2023. I’ve posted a couple times since but BIC posting and looking much isn’t feasible for me now due to vision issues from my surgery. I’m working on recovery for it but not sure where that will end up.

This is NOT a feel bad for me statement. I’m alive and kicking and wear makeup regularly. I continue working on recovery. I’ve come a long way. I know sometimes people go MIA and you don’t know why. It’s not any of you! I can’t even count all the brilliant kind people here.

I will have trouble reading posts in response to this so may not see them (the shifting in the text and images are tough for me). Feel free to PM but no obligation (not sure about there). I may be slow to respond. People like to be private but I can share my email or number.

I’ve become known at my company (I’m remote but on camera a lot) for always looking more dressed up (we can be a little more casual), makeup, pearls. I’ve panned ND mini love umm, 3 times? I’m also known for sending cards and a couple packages for holidays to work. BIC taught me the joy when someone sends even a card to your door and you know someone thought of you. They listened to what you like and remembered and it comes along later.

You are all dam* fine people. Thanks for all of it. I’ll be back more when I can.

 

Also for those who know her, my dog Pepper continues to be here!

So lovely to see you, @sprocketta ! 🥰💖😘  I was thinking of you this past weekend (I am not just saying that!).  I saw my neurologist last week and have an MRI & MRA scheduled for the end of the month.  I've been having some issues that may or may not be related to my AVM from 20 years ago (happy anniversary to me, haha).  This is what made me think of you.  You look fabulous and so does Pepper!  PM me if you'd like to chat.  Best wishes!
