Overdone cheeks kinda cancelled plans to add more color to my face. 😄 Also, I’m wearing a skin tint for the first time in months, thanks to a sunscreen I hate.

Base: 

- Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Perfector in shade 9 

- By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Compact in shades 6 (Amber Beige) and 7 (Desert Bare) 

These were necessary to mask the ghostly white cast left by the non-tinted mineral sunscreen I applied today. (It’s not a sunscreen I normally use, and now I remember why. 😡) MUFE Perfector couldn’t fully mask it on its own, and I wanted to powder-set the skin tint anyway. So I buffed on the 2 By Terry finishing powders. I love these because they give me a sheer-to-medium blurred finish without looking too dry-matte, and they never cake on me. 

Today’s my first time using my new Koyudo Fu-Pa DEKAFU-PA01 powder foundation brush and wow, I’m head over heels. ❤️ It is SO SOFT yet super dense. It made quick work of buffing on the By Terry powders. I wanted to keep buffing away for hours because this brush feels incredible against my skin. My Chikuhodo Z-4 finally has some competition for Favorite Face Brush! 

Brows: 

- MAC Shape + Shade (brush end only) in Stud 

- Kimiko Super Fine Eyebrow Pencil in Black Tea 

Eyes: 

Top lashes: IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara 

I’ve never tried this before. First coat applied fine, but the second coat got clumpy. It hasn’t flaked or smudged yet, but my eyeballs are now starting to feel gritty so I’ll need to remove it soon. 

Undereyes: 

- Smashbox Hydrating Under Eye Primer 

- NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Amande 

- NARS NARSissist Wanted 2 Cheek Palette - Ambition 

Cheeks: 

- NARS NARSissist Wanted 2 Cheek Palette - Penthouse, topped with Exposed 

- By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Compact in shade 6 (Amber Beige) 

I was accidentally heavy handed on one cheek with Penthouse today. After trying to tone it down with Exposed and a top layer of finishing powder, I gave up and did the other cheek to match. 😄 Penthouse is Exhibit A potent and lasts all day—which is funny because I hoped it would wear away throughout the day but noooo, this is a NARS blush so of course it’s held up for hours. That’ll learn me. 

Lips: 

NARS Lipstick in Bad Reputation
