They continue to impress every year @danielledanielle. These brushes are probably the only beauty products I purchase with the mindset of it's a collector item, for how cute they are, that they perform well and their tie-in to the Lunar New Year.

@missjeanie  I tried Bobbi Brown's other newish blush, the Pot Rouge Velvet Matte.  I like it a lot better than the original Pot Rouge (still available) because it goes on easily, smoothly, blurs, and lasts.  It makes me hopeful for the blush sticks.

@missjeanie those Bobbi Brown sticks are calling me.  I need to find a retailer that actually carries them in store so that I can swatch them!

@CookieGirl1 They look like a bit of a Goldilocks to me, a combination of the Summer Friday's which I found a bit on the more matte side and the Haus Labs which I found a bit too glossy.  I'm hoping to swatch in store in as well!

You were the first person I thought of when I saw the email for these @ather. Of the two, I'm more inclined to the cleanser. I'll wait for a promo deluxe size gwp or if a store near me stocks it, I may swing by to test the consistency. I just finished a full size cleanser last month and have a couple of full size cleansers to work my way through so I'm not in need of a cleanser anytime soon and can definitely wait. This one sounds like it might be a nice one to use the spring too so the timing could work out nicely with the spring sale.

I have been rotating between 3 cleansers and I thought I had narrowed it down to 2 that gave me this weird rash under my eyebrow. And now I have been using the Youth To The People Superfood Gentle Antioxidant Refillable Cleanser which seems to have brought it back again. I had a new bottle of Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser 5.0 oz/ 150 mL which I have used with no irritation in the past. So I will try that tonight. Also wonder if they will keep both cleansers in the line or just the one?? Hmmm I think it’s my only cleanser left to use up so I may possibly buy the new one to test out too!!

@ather, I wondered too whether they would be keeping the amino gel cleanser and your thoughts on that. I know the amino gel cleanser is one that you enjoyed. Do you use just the one cleanser - the amino gel one? 

That YTTP cleanser is a popular one but it’s too drying for me to use consistently. I  occasionally repurpose it as a makeup brush cleaner or hand soap. But if it’s giving you a rash maybe it’s just time to toss it?

@itsfi I do a double cleanse. I try and use a more oil base and a gel based. I like the Oat cleansing balm and the Farmacy balm. And I have been using a few gel cleansers to see but I have always had good luck with the SF Amino! I can’t tag items. 😭

Hmmm good to know the YTTP cleanser is drying for you. I’m not sure if it’s the cleanser or maybe I have developed some eczema. I’ve had fussy skin forever. So maybe it’s just the weather? Today it’s flaking again. So either the SF cleanser is working or it’s probably just a skin condition. 

I think to be safe I’ll repurpose the cleansers and maybe use them as a brush cleaner. Thanks for the tip!!

Oh, those are two great cleansing balms @ather! 😍  Sorry to hear your skin is acting up; I hear ya on having fussy skin. I think the weather definitely contributes to it and the weather this year seems to be particularly tempermental everywhere, like colder, chillier than usual.

I just finished my last backup of my fave gel/second cleanser so I'm back in the hunt for something to fill that top shelf / favorite spot as far as second cleansers go (though I could easily use my first cleansers for that too). Don't get me wrong, I have a few second cleansers (tried and true and new to me) I'm currently using and/or  testing so I, too, am not in any rush or need to get one, but like you, I may pick up the cleanser if it were available as a promo gwp - I'm actually wondering if my skin would be okay with one of the ingredients in it.

The gel-cream description of the moisturizer makes me think it might be better suited for my skin in the summer or warmer seasons. I feel like I found my go-to moisturizer for those months last year but I could see myself picking up a sample / promo gwp.

@itsfi I could see this appealing to the younger crowd for sure.  I'm willing to give it a shot but I need to work through the dozen cleansers I have before I even consider it.
