Dark circles usually have a blue/purple tone to them so a peach or orange color corrector cancels that out. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector is good or the L.A girls color corrector in case on a budget. I’m not sure what your skin type is so what works for me may not work for you but as far as foundations i like NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation but for drugstore loreal infallible

I thought about picking up the Makeup by Mario too @jaaayp, but I talked myself out of it ... for now, that is. 🤣 The formula is really nice! In the glow version, I'm either 1.5N or 2N depending on the time of year. I tried the matte version once, but it was before the products were reformulated and I know that I was a different shade in the matte then - I want to say I can do the 1W in the winter in the matte version.

I do like the CT quite a bit, I have some fine lines under the eyes and my concealer always tends to settle a little there but with CT, BAM, BLURRED. I didn't realize it gives coverage tho so I might have to pay more attention to that when I apply it next time 🤔 the rest of my face I usually just set with LM or MUF loose powder (my HG loose is too shiny for me rn, I can only wear it during the winter time 🙃). I think shopping your own stash is a great way for me to finish a product before moving on, I actually shopped my stash the whole weekend every time I logged onto sephora app to make a purchase. I was able to get away with not purchasing anything, (who am I?) BUT I did end up making an ulta purchase because I really wanted to replace my contour brush that's been shedding on me as of late (which led me to buy like a whole set but at like 50%+ off) but that's definitely just my journey of low/no buy, I support you and your hauls/favs at anytime! You always have awesome swatches I love to see 👀

So true @ather! They can't all be 🐐🐐, right?! Right!! The CT moisturizer is fine - I know many folks enjoy it. There are just other moisturizers I like more and would choose over the CT. I've decided that moving forward, if I have a foil sample that I'm just not feeling wowwed about trying, I'll put it in the "things to be donated" bin. That way, someone who could use the product can do so and it'll help clear out products that I wouldn't otherwise enjoy or want to use.

LOL so far I have and used the Elemis Pro-Collagen Firming Retinol Alternative Renewal Serum 0.5 oz / 15 ml (I really love this... which is bad because this is pricey and im not rich enough for this. oh and look! It's retinol alternative 😉) and I have the beekman collagen booster. I use these two alternatively and my skin definitely feels firmer (either that or my face is getting fatter and plumper). Thank God both of these are boosters and only need a few drops vs a whole dropper! I was just gifted the Paula's Choice Pro Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster 0.67 oz / 20 mL which I haven't opened yet (I honestly think it'll take me forever to go through the two boosters above so may need to give this away) Ahhh. It makes sense. I think I mildly know what it's like because as you said, it's somewhat normal at a low level. I do get mild dryness and redness which is why I only use retinol at night if I know I won't be wearing makeup the following day! I usually slap on the LANEIGE Cica Sleeping Mask and find that that helps a lot or the following day, I use the Tower 28 Beauty SOS Daily Skin Barrier Redness Recovery Moisturizer 1.86 oz / 55 ml . Well, it's great either way tho because there are so many retinol alternatives now!
