Monthly Faves: June 2024!

Happy Summer, BIC! I know I’ve been ready for it, and I’m eager to embrace the sunshine with low-maintenance hairstyles, cool down with some self-care, and streamline my makeup routine for a look that’s juuust dewy enough -- only in the places where I want to be. 😅 Some of these picks were even inspired by my fellow Community members, but then again, that’s nothing new! BIC knows best. 😇

June Favorites🩷

I have increased the frequency of my tretinoin so Glossier After Baume Moisture Barrier Recovery Cream 1.7 oz / 50 mL has been a must!

I am in love with the new iNNBEAUTY PROJECT Elastic Skin Firming & Plumping Vegan Growth Factor Serum with Copper Peptides  It feels so nice and hydrating!

Dior Dior Addict Lip Glow 01 Pink 

Miss Dior exfoliating body oil smells so good and does a great job exfoliating.

I wondered if you’d tried the Innbeauty serum @faeriegirl ! It’s on my wish list once I work through a few of mine. Great to know you love it. Is it smooth or sticky/tacky at all? The Dior looks wonderful!

It's been a busy month discovering favorites.  These hair products are ones I have at home and use, but never all at one time.  Using them together made my hair go from hopelessly frizzy to curly and healthy again, in 4-5 weeks.

Natasha Denona Hy-Glam Powder Foundation- Shade R2. Beautiful powder!  And it's truly pink-based and not yellow.

Armani Luminous Silk Bronzing Drops- Nordstrom half-price sale.  Slightly fragranced, like its namesake foundation, but very nice.  I've used it by applying after foundation or on bare skin; it's very smooth.

#Kosas Dream Beam Sunscreen- No sunscreen scent, and does not bother my skin nor clog my pores at all.

ELF Soft Glam Satin Foundation- Light Cool 23.  It's $8; more matte than satin. Could easily look cakey.

Dear Dahlia Petal Drop Liquid Blush- shade Barely- Costco has/had a two-pack of these for $10.  It's beautiful; right up there with Armani's (and more shades to choose from. And cheaper.)

Iris&Romeo Lash Up Peptide Volumizing, Curling & Lengthening Mascara Friesian Black- I agree with everyone else who loves this; it's perfect.  Lots of length plus volume; doesn't make my lashes crunchy, removes easily.

GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI Can't Stop Staring Clean Lengthening & Lifting Mascara Black- Love this one too.  Makes me look like I actually have lashes. 

Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow Goals Volumizing Brow Gel & Pencil Duo 5-  I have it in the shade Grey.  It's a great color for me, and it's pretty subtle.  Don't expect added volume from this, but it's nice for what it is.

Hourglass Voyeur Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Cave- So smooth, and such a nice, opaque, dark brown.  I should use this more often.

Sourse Skin Glow Bites- Vegan Ceramide-Infused Chocolate Supplements- Now, these are yummy!  I can't tolerate the flavor of the Grow bites (you can taste the B vitamins, which taste as bad as they smell, to be really frank.)

Surratt Auto-Graphique Eyeliner- I love the shade, how easy it is to apply (especially on my hooded eyes,) and it doesn't make my eyes water.

HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Color Fuse Longwear Hydrating Glassy Lip + Cheek Blush Balm StickGlassy Lilac- It looks purplish, but on me it's a very cool pink, exactly what I was hoping for.  It's easy to apply, and dries down well, except for about .5%.

Great faves! I love the ND powder too - you are right, she gets pink complexion tones right! I love the NATASHA DENONA Hy-Glam Brightening & Hydrating Medium to Full Coverage Crease Proof Serum Concealer ... . I use RP3 but needed something a little darker for summer, so I just picked up R5 in the concealer. I chose R4 for the powder, which is just slightly light for summer, but the color is fine overall. I also love the HG Cave eyeliner. Such a great color and stays on my hooded eyes! @Ispend2much6

@sister13   Good to know about the concealer, and the R4 powder.  I think  that's what I need for my summer shade.

@Ispend2much6 Amazing favourites. The GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI Can't Stop Staring Clean Lengthening & Lifting Mascara Black is on my list to try. I am also using Verb oil this month!

@Mellmars1185  It's definitely worth a try!  The formula is a bit dry, but not as bad as Lancome's Lash Idole (or maybe I just got a bad tube.)  I don't remember any flaking.

I’m glad you found a blush that works well for you @Ispend2much6 ! The Iris & Romeo mascara is so terrific , I’m still in love with it too! I worry how it’ll perform as I work through a tube and so far so great! You find the same?

@Sunnysmom   You and me both!  😉  I know what you mean- mascaras usually do dry out before the tube is empty.  I really like that I don't have to worry about losing more lashes while wearing and removing it.  Thanks for your review earlier- it encouraged me to try it.

Oh I’m happy to hear that @Ispend2much6 ! I would’ve felt badly if you didn’t like it tho I know mascara is so personal anyway! So far I haven’t lost any lashes either I don’t think , always a worry, ugh!

@Sunnysmom  I temporarily had more lashes and brow hairs while on prednisone, but they're gone now.  I was so excited!
