Monthly Faves: June 2024!

Happy Summer, BIC! I know I’ve been ready for it, and I’m eager to embrace the sunshine with low-maintenance hairstyles, cool down with some self-care, and streamline my makeup routine for a look that’s juuust dewy enough -- only in the places where I want to be. 😅 Some of these picks were even inspired by my fellow Community members, but then again, that’s nothing new! BIC knows best. 😇

Here are some of the products I’ve been picking up the most in June:

Products that stood out to me this month and were affordable for my acne-prone skin were:

- Ordinary 2% salicylic acid serum 

~helped with my skin texture and hydration 

-Paula’s Choice 2% bha liquid exfoliant 

~helped clear acne scars and dark spots 

These products have been my go to products for this month followed along with my favourite sunscreen from Supergoop!

So true! I noticed results within a few days. Have you tried the new lactic acid from Paula’s Choice? That’s what I plan on trying next.

@Jasmig1738, do you mean the Paula's Choice 6% Mandelic Acid + 2% Lactic Acid AHA Liquid Exfoliant for Dark Spots, Textured Skin ? I haven’t tried it yet but definitely want to. I have a sample size from a promo gwp a while back but have a couple of similar products already open that I need to finish up first. Would love to know what you think about it, when you have had time to try it out. Right now, my go to’s for acne care includes rotating among the following -

I’m glad I have these products but I would also be perfectly happy if my skin didn’t break out and I didn’t need them. 😂

This month’s stand out product for me are Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint Blush  (Intense Berry) and IT Cosmetics Hello Sunshine Invisible Sunscreen For Face SPF 50 1.7 oz / 50 mL 

I love the finish and formula of cheek tint. Hello sunshine  works so well for my oily skin. It is not mattifying but it isn’t greasy either. I love its feel in skin and also it doesn’t interfere with any tinted makeup I wear on top. This one is surely going to be a repurchase. I am actually trying a few other new things from it cosmetics that I like a lot but I need to use them a l few more times to decide if they qualify as favourites.

@fatimamummy The perfect SPF formula can be hard to find - glad you found one that works so well for you!

I also have recently tried the Armani cheek tint, mine is Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint Blush 53 Bold Pink -- it's the quintessential baby doll pink, but blends into my skin so nicely so it doesn't come off clown-like! I bet the berry one is gorge on you!

Diptique candle biscuit is a delicious coffee house scent that just warms your soul

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Oil Luminizing Lip Oil 'N Gloss Fro$ted Bunz is stunning 

innisfree Green Tea Enzyme Vitamin C Brightening Serum 1 oz / 30 mL is my favorite vitamin c serum to date!!

Fresh sugar watermelon lip balm has held me back from purchasing the new laneige watermelon lip mask. I hadn't even opened it yet, and quickly it was a summer favorite
