Monthly Favorites: August 2021 Edition!

August! I feel like I was just getting to know you and now it’s already almost time to usher you out the door. 😎✌ It’s safe to say I spent this month adding a little extra glow to my no-makeup-makeup routine, including experimenting with different bronzer applications, and really pushing the longevity of my hairstyle between washes. I guess you could say this month’s faves are a little uncharacteristically subtle for me, but nothing wrong with embracing all the easy-breezy relaxed vibes for summer – at least when it comes to my beauty routine!

They really are @Kim888 I have the same in cream versions but no powder yet. I’m bummed I missed the Passion set but hoping she will bring it back some day! I think it’s good she also has same in bullet form as well so I can have my favs separately in my bag. 😊

@Kim888 Ooo yes the Tatcha lip mask is next on my list, if I ever finish this never-ending pot of Laneige (I've been saying this for about a year now to everyone who posts a lip mask in Monthly Faves LOL)

I only have two products that grabbed my attention in a big way this month.  The Replica Matcha Meditation (I NEEEEED a large bottle of this!) This smells like memories and hugs.   That makes zero sense, haha.  Green tea that opens up into  v&r flowerbomb and Prada Candy’s love child has me hooked.   
The Algenist cleanser is just wonderful!!! It’s a balmy cream to oil cleanser that gives a subtle lather and removes every drop of makeup with ease.   Love it!   Algenist GENIUS Ultimate Anti-Aging Melting Cleanser 5 oz/ 150 mL Maison Margiela REPLICA' Matcha Meditation 0.34 oz/ 10 mL Eau de Toilette Spray

The idea of memories and hugs is often why I buy perfumes @heartsmyface. I get it. My husband just asked me tonight if there was anything I wanted to do around the house or buy for myself and I had nothing. Because I didn’t want to mention that I had fallen in love with yet another perfume of the moment💕

@eshoe  Aw it’s smile inducing just that he wants to ensure you’re happy.   Which perfume are you vying for at the moment?  

I think I must subconsciously associate tea time with friendship and hugs cause I don’t know what made me think that otherwise.

Armani Privé Pivoine Suzhou @heartsmyface. It has a familiar, peppery, warms me soft scent that just makes me feel safe and content. 

I have a little collection of mugs from friends that always make me smile. Your oversized unicorn one that you sent is a favorite of mine💗

@heartsmyface That cleanser really does a great job! I finished a sample of it off this month. I just don't like putting that oily stuff on my face haha.

@Samtian yeah I can understand that.   It just takes the makeup off sooooo well and easily.   I don’t find this one leaves much residue at least;)

Oooh that cleanser sounds great @heartsmyface ! I liked the collagen moisturizer thing from that line I’ll have to check this out !
