April - what a whirlwind month! It really whizzed by, didn’t it? I hope you at least got the chance to stop, shop, swatch, and shower yourself with goodies from this month’s epic Spring Savings Event. (And if not, that’s okay – maybe you’re out here trying to save, and we admire your strength). So whether you splurged on some beauty newness, or saved by dipping into your existing beauty stash, let’s talk about those April favorites!

@Emy10 it should smell like a mixture of mint and vanilla. But mine smells a little chemical, you can smell ethyl alcohol....which is high in the ingredients list. It's a lovely product, it goes on very thin and my lips are very soft when I wear it, but the scent...👎😤

@Anonymous  its high on the ingredient list, do you know if thats one of those good alcohols??

I want to try one of the Dior lipglosses some time, but im not sure which one.

@Emy10 - Ethyl alcohol is your basic alcohol.  It's used in hand sanitizers because it can kill germs.  It is not used in "alcohol-free" (or "clean") products because it can dry out your skin. 🍻

@Emy10 Don't know tbh. I highly suggest you to try the rosewood shade, is a mlbb for many of us. It's a mauve/dark pink lippie, with a hint of nude and plum in it, so gorgeous 💗 Dior Dior Addict Lip Glow 12 Rosewood Dior Lip Glow Oil Rosewood

@Anonymous  i tried one of theyre "balm" one time and really didnt like it (super sticky), and the color i wanted *Rosewood* was not in stock either. Anyway i really hope theyre gloss or lip oil are better.

Theres a few Youtubers that i watch that suggested one of theyre glosses, one is a plumping one and another one is a more regular one thats not plumping.

At that price it should feel like satin on the lips.

I've hit a couple of duds this month sadly, but I found a new HG concealer that I bought from the sale that doesn't irritate my under eyes nor does it cling to dry patches Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer with Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid . I also don't experience eczema flare ups nearly as bad after using this vs what I was using so I'm really impressed!

I also am slowly falling in love with GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI All Time Prime Clean Hydrating Prep & Smooth Face Oil 0.95 fl oz. / 28 mL . I'm not sure what happened but on my way to an important meeting all of my freshly applied makeup started to pill on my forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose area so I just wiped all of the mess (consisting of foundation, moisturizer, and concealer to name a few) off with my fingers as it was so very noticeable. The end result after stripping away the excess was flawless looking skin that I'm convinced was in large part due to this face oil as it was my first step in prepping my skin for makeup. Sadly I've had makeup pill on me before but never after gently wiping it away has it revealed such a gorgeous outcome. It was like a magic trick and that was the first time I was using the GXVE oil so I'm giving it the credit.

While it's not quite a dupe for my HG Dior LE lippie that I bought a few years back I still love Dior Dior Addict Refillable Shine Lipstick 718 Bandana it's such a pretty color and the formula is fantastic!

@niki172, that Kosas concealer sounds like a wonderful under eye concealer! I need to remember to look at the shades the next time I’m in the store.

@itsfi it really is a wonderful one. It plays well with my sheered out under eye ointment that helps with my eczema. For the price I'd recommend trying it as IMO it's one of the more affordable concealers out there that are really nice and is clean beauty.

@niki172 Thanks for sharing your incredible experience with the GXVE priming oil! I think I need to tone down the ratio of foundation I mix with the oil and let the oil primer shine more on its own. My face is dry these days so my foundation doesn’t apply as smoothly 😣

@niki172 I'm so glad you found the Kosas concealer to be a win!  I've been singing it's praises ever since I've tried it and I'm glad it's getting love!

@missjeanie usually I find things that claim to be moisturizing do not moisturizer enough for me sadly but this actually worked! And it does a pretty good job of hiding my dark circles as well. I just wish their foundation line was in my shade range as I'd be more than happy to try it out.

@niki172 Love that you're a fan of the GXVE oil, even if you've been having strange experiences!!! I need to keep using mine.

@AlexBT I think the weird pilling is due to my moisturizer not meshing well with the foundation I'm currently using. Sadly I've tried a lot of different things/approaches to make it work but I think it's time to find a new moisturizer that will work. The GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI All Time Prime Clean Hydrating Prep & Smooth Face Oil 0.95 fl oz. / 28 mL really does give you a nice glow. I may try skipping moisturizer next time and mixing a bit of the oil into my foundation as well for an added extra of hydration since summer is coming up and that means humidity 😎.

 PAT McGRATH LABS Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Weightless Foundation has beautiful medium coverage.

Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Setting and Finishing Powder 3 Voile Rosé  is my new favorite powder. It looks so good!

LAWLESS Glam Guard Long-Wear Setting Spray 1.7 oz/ 50 mL  has been great and doesn’t feel sticky.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector  has been fantastic for covering dark circles.

GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI Eye See in Color Clean Multidimensional Eyeshadow Palette 

I have been using this as brow powder and it is the perfect blonde shade. 

LAWLESS Forget The Filler Lip Plumper Line Smoothing Gloss  is my favorite lip gloss. I got Glazed and Annie during the sale and I love both shades.

SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Bronzer Brush #80  is so fluffy and blends my bronzer perfectly.

@faeriegirl, lovely favorites. I forgot that CT had an under eye color corrector. I’ll have to check it out; have been wondering whether to try something new or go with Bobbi Brown. Givenchy loose powders are classic beauties! Love the finish and how it looks on the vanity. ♥️
