Beauty Blast-Off! What’s the ONE Product You’d Take to Outer Space?

You can only bring ONE beauty product with you. I know, I know… that alone sounds like an impossible task, but the fate of the planet depends on us!

Can’t live without your brow pencil? Dependent on your daily moisturizer? Need a serious dry shampoo to make your last Earth-bound blowout last forever? Anything goes! (Also, for the sake of #science, let’s pretend gravity will still exist in this BIC rocketship of ours, so don’t worry about your liquid lipstick floating away into the stratosphere.) And yes, you’ll still be able to take selfies. 😉

Just one seems to be next to impossible to choose. I travel and move around the world all the time so I know a few products that I absolutely have to have but naming just one... Oh well, since are going to Outer Space, I’m taking DR. JART+ - Every Sun Day™ Sun Fluid SPF 50+ so I won’t look like an old raisin in a week 😂😂😂 Please forgive me LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask , DIOR - Dior Lip Glow - 004 Coral Glow and GUERLAIN - Météorites Highlighting Powder Pearls - 02 Light

Skincare is more important to me than makeup, so my real tossup is skincare vs. haircare. But I feel good about my choice (assuming water is freely available on our spacecraft), even though it's not sunscreen—which I can't believe I'm not choosing 😂: 

I'd bring a few jars in addition to a few travel tubes.

Aquaphor Ointment = lip balm, occlusive facial moisturizer, cuticle cream, body moisturizer, and (in a pinch—like, oh, having no access to hair products for a long time) I could probably use it to moisturize my hair and scalp. It'd be a good multitasker for me.

The one thing I cannot stand is dry lips (we've all been there where we desperately need a lip balm) so I'm going to take INC.REDIBLE - Three Love Lip, Cheek and Eye Tint Stick - Changes to Boho. Not only will it keep my lips hydrated, but I can get that monochromatic look for my cheeks and eyes. A win-win-win situation!

Does this have good pigment @niki172 ? Good idea! I haven’t tried it.

@Sunnysmom it's a bit buildable without being sticky or tacky. I would say it gives you a nice flush of color especially if you get one suited for your skintone. I hope that helps it's been ages since I've used mine and I have no clue where mine is - balm type blush and a mask doesn't mix well 😅.

This is honestly the hardest question I have had to answer in a long time! I value soft, hydrated skin so I would have to say that I would bring along a massive tub of KOPARI - Coconut Melt to slather on whenever I’m feeling earth-sick. The best thing about coconut oil is you can use it on your hair and your face as well so it’s a good “all-in-one” product 💁🏼‍♀️

At first I was thinking eyeliner but then you mentioned moisturizer and I would definitely need that, so CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Magic Cream Moisturizerit is! Unconfirmed that there's some SPF in there so I'll just cross my fingers that the rumors are true 😄

I'm probably going to regret not taking skincare with me, but I just have to go with a brow product!! Probablyyyy BENEFIT COSMETICS - Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra Fine Shape & Define. I'm just not a real person without my brows! Unless I get microbladed before I launch off into space, but... it likely wouldn't be my first priority before leaving the planet for the first time. 😆
