@Anonymous Hey Ashley! Our entire line including Good Genes is safe to use while breastfeeding!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

EDIT: My husband asked me yesterday what I did to make my son's neck clear up so quickly!

I can't take any pictures because my teen son would DIE if I posted a photo of him and his skin on Sephora, so please just take my word for the following post. 🙂

He just got hired at a job that requires him to be outside for up to 8 hours at a time.  Me, being the fussy  (to him) mom that I am, I made him use sunscreen because he had an allergic reaction to a sunburn last year and suffered immensely from it.

He has acne, including some cystic acne.  I know that, because he has keratosis pilaris, his body doesn't shed the old skin like it should, and his pores on his dry skin get easily clogged.  It had leveled out some, but he had the worst break out I've ever seen by Monday.

Red bumps of all sizes all over his back, face, chest, and particularly his neck.  All places where the sunblock had been applied.  I honestly didn't know what to do.

I saw my Good Genes packets from the last SR challenge, and had him apply it to the bad areas (he already cleanses with Ceramic Slip.)

His face is back to normal today (Wednesday,) and the rest of his body is recovering nicely, after only THREE applications of Good Genes!

I would also like to share that we had run out of options with the dermatologist.  Every cream they suggested aggravated his skin (I gave his skin plenty of time to get used to the treatments.)  For medical reasons he can't take Accutane pills, so we were really stuck.

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@Ispend2much6. Thank you for sharing this story! THIS and all the stories like it are what SR is my HG skin care line!!!!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@mermadelove  You're welcome!

RE: Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@Ispend2much6 thank you so much for sharing this! We love that Good Genes worked so well for him!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@Ispend2much6 Do you think you son is sensitive to certain sunblocks if it was mostly in places where the sunblock was applied? For myself I learned the hard way that I can't put chemical sunscreens on my face or it'll break out in tiny bumps everywhere!!

That's awesome the good genes worked!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@mella900  I wish I knew definitively what happened.  I usually give him an spf 30 Neutrogena with no problem, and this was spf 50, so I'm sure there were different ingredients.  I need to compare the two for sure.  Thanks!

RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

I HAD cystic acne, T-Zone acne, textured skin around my mouth, and dark spots, as well as some scarring. I am 29 years old, but I am pretty hard on my face! I started doing some research, and began with power couple. Wow! 4 days. FOUR DAYS! And my skin was almost perfect. No more texture, very few new zits, and my face was all the same color. Woah! So, naturally, I then bought UFO, CEO serum (fave), CEO cream, auto correct, and am waiting on ceramic slip. Two months has passed and I have people coming up TO ME asking ab my skin. I have essentially stopped buying makeup, because I don’t need it. The first two pics are before and last two are tonight (I have Luna on and am about to put on good genes!!) I am so so so in love with Sunday Riley it has changed my life!

RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

Re: RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@Anonymous  Wow!!!  Thanks for sharing!

RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@Anonymous that is so AWESOME!!!! The Power Couple will always be a staple in my night time routine. ❤️❤️❤️

RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

Hi @sundayriley! I’d like to see if you could help me include Good Genes in my nighttime routine. I struggle with severe acne & combination skin (quite dry in some areas).

This is what I do/products I use:

In what order should I apply the products, and with what frequency?

Thank you!!

RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@Vibibcn Hello! We are so excited that you are adding Good Genes to your routine! We would suggest using CEO in the morning and Good Genes at night and applying it before your moisturizer. Good Genes is safe to use daily and will address any dry areas or patches that you may have without causing sensitivity, but if you are particularly sensitive we suggest limiting use of Good Genes to 2-3 times a week. Please let us know if this helps!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

Can and how would I use the CEO Rapid Flash brightening serum with Good Genes during the day?

At night I am using the power couple duo, but I want some vitamin C during the day. I was just wondering the proper order. Thank you.

RE: Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@awcsales Hey there! Many of our clients choose to use CEO Rapid Flash in the morning and Good Genes at night, but should you choose to use both in the morning we suggest using CEO Rapid Flash first and then using Good Genes. You may also want to try our CEO C + E Protect and Repair Moisturizer. Please let us know if this helps!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

I'm of a 'certain age' where I thought beautiful skin wasn't possible.  That is until I discovered SR Good Genes about nine months ago.  Although I'd like to remember my youth I'd rather forget my acne scars.  Thanks to Good Genes they are almost invisible!  My skin is brighter, fine lines are gone - I can't explain it, my skin is improved in every way. For the first time IN MY LIFE I was going to the Sephora at the mall and I cut through another store and the YSL representative actually stopped me to tell me I had beautiful skin! Same happened at Sephora. Although I was there for some makeup restocking the sales girl said my skin was so beautiful and asked what I was using. Never. Ever. In. My. 60. Years. has that happened, and it was twice in one day! I also use the C.E.O. Cleansing Oil from SR as it is so gentle on my skin and removes every trace of makeup and the day.

Good Genes, indeed!  I wasn't born with them, but thank heaven I'm able to purchase them!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@sundayriley I'm so excited to try this!  I, too, am looking for the best place in my routine.  I'm thinking either at night after cleansing or in the morning after using the Alpha Beta peels.  Thanks!!!

Night:

Farmacy Green Clean cleansing balm

Korres Greek Yoghurt foaming cleanser (using Boscia's konjac sponge)

Drunk Elephant LaLa Retro moisturizer

Drunk Elephant C-Tango eye cream

Morning:

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta daily peels

Tatcha Water Cream

Tarte Maracuja C-brightener eye cream

RE: Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@Iris2672 Hello! Thank you so much for taking part in the challenge! At night, we would suggest using Good Genes after your cleanser and before your moisturizer just like you were planning to. In the morning, we suggest using either Good Genes or the Alpha Beta peel, but not both, in order avoid potentially over-exfoliating your skin. Good Genes is safe for daily use but you can alternate the days when you use it and your Alpha Beta peel. Please let us know if this helps!
