Any product recommendations for beginners in skin cycling?

Usually I just have a 2 day on and off way of using products.  But, are there any specific skincare needs or goals you have?  Or, an area you're targeting?  For example, I try to fade my acne scars, so I will sometimes alternate what serum I use when I use a peel.  On an off day, I just focus on cleansing and moisturizer.

Hyper Skin Mini Brightening Dark Spot Vitamin C Serum 0.5 oz/ 15 mL  .  It's something you have to stick with it, but it's helped me with my acne scars and it's great for hyperpigmentation.  The cleanser is great ( Hyper Skin Gentle Brightening Gel Cleanser with Mandelic Acid 5 oz / 150 mL  ) as well, and it works a little quicker than the serum and it's a gentle cleanser.  The direct site has the mini set for 20% off at the moment (Hyper Skin)

I also like OLEHENRIKSEN Cold Plunge Pore Mask 3 oz/ 90 mL , this has BHA/AHAs with it, so this is an active.

For moisturizers, I like them a little heavy, but if you're oily combo, a gel works well.  CLINIQUE Dramatically Different™ Moisturizing Gel for Skin Barrier Repair  is a great one.  belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb is a favorite.  Don't forget to moisturize, sometimes when you go to harsh on your skin, it reacts.

There are also tons of other products, like check out the Ordinary and the inkey list, but those I've tagged used and still use.  (Note: I really like Hyper Even because it's BOB, but inclusive, so I felt like it was made for me in mind, but still great for anyone.)
