Differin users!

hello, I use Differin every third day since my skin is insanely dry as it is and I'm just interested in other people's routines using Differin. I'm also looking to try some new products and I'm looking at good genes but I'm concerned about using it with Differin? I'm honestly kind of new at the whole skincare thing so any help would be appreciated!

Hi there, I’m new to Good Genes and I was wondering how you’ve been incorporating it into your regimen with Differin? I just put on my first ever layer of Good Genes (on an evening I’m not using Differin) and I’m hoping to see great results! The Differin purging period wrecked my skin but it’s getting much better so I wanted to mix in an AHA to help brighten everything up. Hope all is well with your routine!

Have you tried using a facial oil?  I was skeptical, but using a face oil has changed my skin!  Luna and UFO by Sunday Riley are good but pricey.  Sephora has a ton of options, I also like the Origins plantscription oil and Tarte maracuja.  You can also find less expensive options at Ulta like the DermaE brand.

I would use good genes on the nights that you don't use Defferin. The good genes will exfoliate your skin so that the Defferin work better, actually. They'll both dry you out so you'll need a good moisturizer. I don't recommend a facial oil if you have acne - all but plain jojoba make me break out. You could use a good oil free moisturizer from Dr. Dennis Gross or Kate Somerville - both brands are good!
