Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

Another one for W week -Wander & Wonder..I only got 2 (barely) uses out of this Wander mask. I forgot how messy it was! but it still is pretty 💜 and felt it did a pretty good job leaving my skin softer, smoother &brighter. I did think my layer was a lil thin so it did come off in pieces-lesson learned but happy I picked up a fs. Now to the wonder part, I've been wondering about these. 🤔And I finally used one, its thin almost mesh looking. Some of the reviews on Amazon talked about it being so soaked with serum that its drippy. I didnt have that problem, thank goodness. There was sufficient serum to apply the mask & multitask like usual..it didnt smell like cotton candy though 😒It was a sweet scent but faint, it reminded me a bit of kilian kissing? (I think) but more subtle and it was about 10-15 min in that I may have picked up some candy sweetness. I left it on about 25 min. My skin was pretty soaked but the serum did soak in pretty quickly & didnt leave me sticky. Overall a good experience, so far grade is A. It does have some good ingredients though!

The sheet masks sounds good @sonnydee; I’m looking forward to trying out the one I have but will adjust my expectations - no cotton candy scent. 😔

Just saw we both used the same mask yesterday @sonnydee, nice! I was hoping for a cotton candy scent too. Funny that the reviews said it was dripping in serum, I suppose at some point I may have thought that, too, though. Loved that it didn't leave much tack!

@sonnydee That would've been nice if it smelled like cotton candy, but I'm glad to hear the scent and the results were still both great! I have a few candy masks like this I'm eager to try! I'm happy you liked this one! 😃

Here’s a far-reaching W. W is for what the...? I picked an oldie, Boscia Luminizing Black Mask.

The first time I used it I used it incorrectly. I spread it too thin so needless to say trying to peel it was agony. That was last year and I refused to pick it up again. Until today. In the spirit of good masking I felt like I owed it a chance to redeem itself by using a slightly thicker layer to see what it would do. I left it on for 30 minutes. Well, this time it peeled fairly easily. My face felt...firm. Real firm. Too firm. I couldn’t even smile right y’all. I felt like I still had that mask on about 20 minutes after I took it off. My skin looked nice with the exception of a zit that has been plaguing me for four days now. Ugh! So would I use this bad boy again? If I really worried about sagging skin, sure. But I’m not. So...no. This came out of a Sephora Favorites box. Not a fan. I’ll give it a C because my face looked pretty good. Just can’t get past the firmness.

So sorry about this one @divaknits. Good for you for giving it another try but it sounds like a W for woeful. 👎🏼 I use this one just on my nose and occasionally on my chin and have to make sure I have a thicker layer on; otherwise, ouch!! 😢

@divaknits boscia makes some mean peel-off masks. The pink one was my first, and it was agony. I feel ya. @heartsmyface is right - derma planing prior is key. I destashed mine after the first and only use. Kudos to you for giving it another go!

@divaknits Sorry this one didn't work out so well! I wasn't a fan of this one either, but ended up using the whole thing over time on just my nose. I sort of used it like a pore strip and it did help clean out my pores well. I got this in a sub and it's definitely not one I'd ever buy myself. 😬

I've always wanted to like masks like this @divaknits but you can never get the thinness/thickness right (at least in my experience). I'd rather just use a Biore nose strip! Sorry this was a bummer yet again. At least you can add it to the list of masks not to buy!

@divaknits spreading a peel off mask too think is the worst! It's always impossible to get off - I feel like we've all made that mistake !
